It is busybox's problem, if I have got it correctly.I like very much latest test version. I didn't know that I have so much space on my phone ??
At least there is a workaround, and 2 extra taps each time isn't so bad until you get an official answer. You're welcome.
Also, on 3 devices I'm running different recent versions of MiXplorer (TEST_B1701111, 6.10.6.BETA_B1612162, 6.10.6.BETA_B1612172) and dont see that option in any of them. Perhaps you mean it is "missing from" the latest version rather than "removed from" the latest version (they mean different things in the timeline of versions).
Perhaps I'm missing something: What version did you see it in? Screenshot?
What should this option do? Open the folder as if it was clicked?
Thank you for the screenshot. Now I see that you are using "removed" when you mean "missing". As I mentioned before, this is an important distinction:
To say "... was removed from the latest version" means that it would be present in the immediately preceding version. This was not the case.
To say "... is missing from the latest version" merely means it is not there. This was the case.
Of course just following SOP and mentioning at the outset the specific versions in which you made observations would have been best.
As to tap counting:
"Go To Folder":
Long press or tap icon to select.
Tap menu.
Tap to "Go to location".
= 3 taps
Properties "Workaround"
Long press or tap icon to select.
Tap menu.
Tap properties.
Tap link.
= 4 taps (3 in views which have the properties button visible in the Action bar).
Also, you can use the relatively new "Settings" - "Buttons" options to move the "Properties" button to where it is visible in the action bar and then you have the same 3 tap process you had before to achieve what you want . Maybe after giving us that option HP removed the old redundant one. Let's see what he says.

Good question. This was another detail that the initial report lacked. I've now got 6.8.7.BETA_B1610161 running on a test device. The "Go to folder" option appears when an item in one of MiXplorer's native search folders (content://external/<filetype>) is selected, and tapping on it takes you to the parent location of the item. Once in the actual location the "Go to folder" option does not appear in menu when an item is selected.
In latest version TEST_B1701111, tapping the link in properties takes you to the parent location of the item (even though the link seems to include the item name), and this works for any item (not just items in the search folders) and we can move the properties button wherever we want... so this really seems no harder to do than before. In fact easy as 1, 2, 3.

When you are, for example, in All Folders view, isn't that what happens when you tap a folder? No, it should open the directory in which the selected folder exists. Similar to "Open Folder Location" context menu option in Windows.
What's still not working is to create new folders. Getting a 'failed' toast.
EDIT: We're talking about mounting Amazon Cloud Drive here
When you are, for example, in All Folders view, isn't that what happens when you tap a folder?
If you want to open the parent of the tapped folder, you tap the arrow after the folder name on the Navbar toolbar to navigate the hierarchy.
Btw, if @HootanParsa implement a "..." (go to parent directory) as the first item in every folder view, this action to reach parent folder would become much easier.
If you want to open the folder in a new tab, tap the "Open in new tab" command in menu of selected folder.
Navbar long-press menu also includes an "Enter the path" option.
@HootanParsa
First I want to thank you for the best file explorer on Android I've seen and used!
Could you please have a look at this issue (already reported in November)? I'm surprised that nobody else reported it...
Thanks again
I do not see this issue when I tried to create a folder now. Which version are you seeing this issue? Try to use the latest one and check.
When some feature is present in an earlier version and is not available in the current version, I would call it as "removed" and not missing. I would say missing if the feature is not available at all and I request the developer to include the "missing" option.
The workaround that you have suggested is a good one but it does not take you to the directory in which the selected folder exists.
That's strange... I'm using MiXplorer_v6.10.6.BETA_B1612172.apk.
Are you running a TEST version?
Thanks
You will remain prone to being misunderstood, as happened here, if you rationalize and dont correct bad writing. At this point you should go argue your case to a dictionary and the history of technical writing rather than me.
Dunno why HP is not confident of these "TEST" versions stability... For me they seems to be more stable due to the included extra fixes. Latest is the latest of all, be it test or beta.
I am able to create new folders in Amazon Cloud Drive in MiXplorer without any issue.Still not possible with the latest TEST version. I even deleted all the application data of MiXplorer...
I found the following in the logs:
...
E/HttpClient> SetAccount com.mixplorer.h.w: 403: Forbidden. Please log in again.
I/OperationHelper> Create new directory https://www.amazon.com/mix
...
E/OperationHelper> MkDir com.mixplorer.h.w: 403: Forbidden. Please log in again.
I/OperationHelper> Create new directory https://www.amazon.com/mix
...
Interesting to know: I can create files, but not folders.
I even revoked permission to MiXplorer in Amazon Drive and re-connected, but still the same problem.
On the latest "Test" version I can't move multiple files (cut/paste) from my bookmarked PC folder to my phone, internal or external SD. The 1st file sometimes does get moved, but then it says "Operation failed".
I went back to MiXplorer_v6.10.6.BETA_B1612172 and it works just fine there. This is on Resurrection Remix N, but it did the same thing on M too.
No big deal since the Beta works, just thought I'd mention it
I have galaxy j200gu stock rom rooted with supersu 2.79 stable..
I dont have root access with mixplorer latest beta..
When i access root/data folder it shows blank..
Anyone can help?
I try this file explorer and like it very much. I always wanna support the dev's and buy the app or send few bucks. The problem here it looks like the project was dead.
When new Android version is released like Android 15 but over a half year no updates it feels wrong to support it.
On Google TV I only find a bug (scan lan network storage crash), rest works fine, on tablet and on smartphone.
I think you misunderstood how updates works in android stable apps.I try this file explorer and like it very much. I always wanna support the dev's and buy the app or send few bucks. The problem here it looks like the project was dead.

Wrong? Use the app and provide logs/info for the dev to fix app-bugs (if any) when he's ready.....over a half year no updates it feels wrong to support it...
I've already replied to this exact post but doing so again, just for context.Looks like the project is dead.
I was about to buy it (support the project) untill I read when the last update was released.
I tried a lot of files manager in the past and I legitimately can say MiX is best and the most complete. If you wanna call me fanboy, do it...but well you are here too right? Why? Perhaps because you find MiX the best too? ..otherwise you wouldn't mess around about your placebo needs.I understand but I m not a fanboy. Look what Ultramanoid said. He compare a dead trash app with MiXplorer and talk about beta releases Thats ok but to ask why the last update is 7 months ago, thats not ok.
Let's stick to you are a noob and that's ok but you need to open your eyes to read and understand what most people here trying to tell you. You clearly have a connection to your mind about new android devices releases with app updates. That's totally wrong......I m a noob but this update was released before Android 14 was released and few new devices from Xiaomi, Samsung, etc was released.
Well...and you got the answer that is not and this is how Hootan works all these years.
You came to my words. These updates means nothing.....if there is no need.X-plore exist for 2 decades and I use it on Symbian. What that means? Nothing! Today they collect data and show ads even if you pay. Btw last update was 3 weeks ago.
Still you didn't told us what bugs you encounter.. Or you told us? None! The app is working pretty fine in your devices you just overanalyze your placebo need about updates.
The dumbest thing I ever read is your twisted logic about app updates. And this is your prime here! Thats the dumbest I ever read here on XDA, by far!
I am the dude which is not often here and don't care about "here you can get the app for free" like 95% of all Android users. It doesn't matter if it is 1 or 100 bucks for the app, because I can spend it to another dev.
You need to understand this is a standalone dev and not a company to make promotion posts in socials etc. His time is limited and spreaded to his real job / real life and to this app.Like I said. I thought the project is dead. I check the linked Twitter profil, for some beta, when he was last time online and so on.
Good, excellent, fantastic, amazing!....then I guess you need to calm down your needs for meaningless updates.I don't find any bugs, just some on Google TV but still it's not a big problem.
Oh.. I actually always try to think like a normal user, because I am a normal user...
Your twisted logic is completely wrong, makes no sense. You need to separate these realeses you have in your mind with app updates. This is not how the things works, only in your mind...Stable release of the app, Android 14 released, few new devices like Xiaomi 14, Samsung S24 and so on and months later still no updates. Even if I find some bugs I would think "useless, dead project".
The project is far from dead. HootanParsa regularly takes extended breaks from XDA, months at a time sometimes, but is brilliant with catching up with feature requests/bugs/etc. when they return. For the extent at which most users will use MiXplorer, everything still works great. Obviously there may be some niche issues and the odd request here and there but everything works more than fine, for the most partLooks like the project is dead.
I was about to buy it (support the project) untill I read when the last update was released.
Ok guys, thanks. I'm feeling lazy to search and read rn
Help me be my search engine one more time, any other recommended root file manager for a14?
Hello and good morning, @ledagiwMy guy, my savior. Thanks
===my OOT==
Xda search is junk, can't search if not login (i browse on incognito), timeline is messed up
Also i didn't mean to offend anyone, since the burger isn't available
It's irrelevant why you don't want to follow the rules but if you don't it will eventually lead to consequences to your account. I'm convinced this is something you want to avoid.1. Search before posting.

Your post is no. #43,838. That's a strong indicator for the passion and long standing development and support from the developer - despite some breaks in between. You'll have difficulties to find another app having a longer history than MiXplorer. And of course, I cannot speak for the developer, but I'm quite sure, there will be updates in the future. So there are good reasons to support the developer now and in the future.Looks like the project is dead.
I was about to buy it (support the project) untill I read when the last update was released.
You said "use an alternative" in your post.
Is there any possibility to open a different viewing app out of MiXExplorer instead of ImageViewer which would allow swiping through the whole folder?
If I click "open with" and choose Google Photos for example only the one picture opened opens in Google Photos and I cannot swipe through the whole folder like I can in ImageViewer.
Go ahead, ban me. Reason: not use search function
That would be the greatest joke of all time to tell my grandkids
And don't be weak by deleting post instead of addressing the issue, this site obviously horde justice warrior, with the guy inisiated the quarrel, yet you only delete mine.
