Slim6 Build 1.6 Android 6.0.1_r66 (MOB31E) is out now. :)
In this build, USB and Bluetooth tethering is enabled.

As N is getting stable now, I have tried the Slim7 build. There would one or two more updates for Slim6.
After that I might continue the release of Slim7 in the same thread here. Cheers! ;)

Will there be an update to the November security package? I really like the Slim6 Rom. Thank you.

Sure. I planned to do so but I have problem syncing the source lately. It took me a few days to get everything ready again...
I just build it out but only have time to test it briefly. Hoping everything is still in position. :p

The Slim6 build-1.12 Android-6.0.1_r74 (MOB31K) is out now. Cheers!
This would probably be the last Slim6. Hoping to continue with Slim7 soon. :D

My battery is not good anymore. When I turn on 3G, max is one day doing nothing. Without 3G maybe 3 days doing nothing.

I'm really happy with this ROM. It keep my tablet usable. I checked very often to buy a new one. But there are not much options for a tablet with at least 32 GB HD and 2 GB RAM and price should be not too high.

My bad. I'm using Tilapia version and forgot to check for mobile network, which is not working, ie totally grey out, can't set APN even.

Just tried to change wallpaper and caused Slim Launcher to FC.

?

Camera is not included. Try another apps (eg. Line Camera). This is the first alpha build. RILD is missing. It might be build settings. I'll rebuild tomorrow. Check here again tomorrow night. ;)

Edit: New build has been uploaded. please check post#1 ;)

best Nexus 7 2012 Tilapia ROM

First of all many thanks the rom is my opinion one of the best for the nexus 7 3g tilapia 2012 I have tried a lot but this is super fast and stable and mobile network and camera (line camera) is now working !!!!

3G for Tilapia is working now. I'm very satisfied with the rom. Thanks Daniel. I would greatly appreciate a monthly update with latest Android patch update and incorporate any Slim update at that time.

I don't know what's wrong with xda. I have updated the page#1 three times to include new link. After a while it just replaced with the old one...
This is the third time now. Hoping it would not be replaced again.

    The latest Slim7 Build 0.12 Android-7.1.1_r21 (NOF26W) is out now. I have tested a bit longer this time. The SlimLauncher (modified from Launcher 3) behaves the same as Carbon. It was not prepared to run in landscape (was for a phone) so the app drawer button is not handled properly in landscape. See if there will be a fix in the next build. ;)

    Try to keep up with the official weekly. Alpha 0.7 is out now.
    In this build, the customizations of UI are included. The kernel default voltages of CPU and GPU are adjusted to reduce the power consumption. Hoping it would work for most of the devices. Cheers! ;)

    This is the latest Slim6 Alpha 0.6. I have built SlimRoms since JB. It is known to be the slimmest and provide all the necessary features. I have included the tweaks which I have been making for Omni6 and DC-kernel. After testing it for a few days, I decided to share it. It is quite stable and responsive.
