@nailyk @tomascus great work!
Now, for those of you getting the Error7 in TWRP, delete these lines from META-INF>com>google>android>updater-script
Code:
(!less_than_int(1490124938, getprop("ro.build.date.utc"))) || abort("E3003: Can't install this package (Tue Mar 21 19:35:38 UTC 2017) over newer build (" + getprop("ro.build.date") + ").");
assert(getprop("ro.product.device") == "D5803" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "D5803" || getprop("ro.product.device") == "D5833" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "D5833" || getprop("ro.product.device") == "z3c" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "z3c" || getprop("ro.product.device") == "aries" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "aries" || abort("E3004: This package is for device: D5803,D5833,z3c,aries; this device is " + getprop("ro.product.device") + "."););
ui_print("Target: Sony/D5803/D5833:6.0.1/23.5.A.1.291/2769308465:user/release-keys");
ifelse(is_mounted("/system"), unmount("/system"));
If anyone asks about how to fix error 7... I will personally send hand them over to cannibals XD

I'm still gettin' the same error also after editing the updater-script

Please attach /tmp/recovery.log.
Also I think you are using the old boot process.
Extract boot.img from the zip, fastboot flash boot boot.img, flash twrp-3.1 (fastboot flash recovery twrp.img) then try again.
(You can also take a look at the install instruction into this thread).

Another fix for Error 7 and all other recovery issues is to use the recovery by nailyk (again lol).
I recommend opening the zip and flashing recovery.IMG using fastboot. :)
Edit. Oops... Here is the link https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=673368273298941412
EDIT2: Please keep using twrp 3.0.2.0 because the new twrp breaks tomascus' builds. It works fine with nailyk's builds though .
Also, I've thoroughly tested the battery. Getting 7 hrs of sot without using any other apps. Also, barely any idle drain 2%-3%

You need to extract the file, edit it, and then replace the file in the zip again

I've tested this rom for the past day and everything works! The camera is just like stock and the camera button does open the camera app. So far the best rom for our devices. Thanks!

Updated to builds from my repo instead.
If anyone is from the previous build, you will need to use flashtool to wipe ONLY apps_log and fotareset before migrating over.
I think the previous build may have wifi issues, that would be the only noticeable change.

Thank you for the great build...
Can i install SuperSU/root and TWRP after flashed this rom?
And one more question, is Z3C DoCoMo's NFC work on this build? because its use another hardware chip. Thanks.

https://download.lineageos.org/extras
Flash addonsu-arm-signed.zip
No idea if it supports Docomo whatever, try it yourself and report back.

Does this Rom support amr-wb and VoLTE ?
No idea, try it and tell me.

Nope. It doesnt . I have a VoLTE Sim. Youll need to get a new phone for that sorry.
@xtbtvd12399 Yes. go to download.lineageos.org and download SU zip from extras (arm) You can then enable root from developer settings. Its faster and cleaner . The only way to check NFC is to try it yourself :)

    New release out, everything else broken not included in changelog is a WORK IN PROGRESS (maybe), including the dreaded phone trying to suicide at night issue.
    I would also appreciate if this thread is kept on-topic to development related material only.
    Also, just a gentle reminder that extra features not in plain LOS will not be added like Substratum support etc.
    Thanks.

    Hi people,

    You might be all wondering what has been happening lately so I'll give an update.
    We've stopped using our own little gerrit and have moved to the official LineageOS Gerrit for code review. Also, all the device trees and kernels have all been pushed to LineageOS repos as well.
    Does this mean that we are official now? Nope, there are still some outstanding issues that need to be dealt with before that can happen, but it is progress. I can't give an ETA on these things because seriously who knows?
    It's like asking someone how long it'll take to complete their homework, they might get stuck on a really hard question for a long long time and need heaps of time to finish it. Similarly, the issues with hardware encryption have not yet been resolved, as well as 3am reboots (possible solutions being tested), and bluetooth issues among other things.
    So, TL;DR just chillax and wait or contribute fixes to speed things up.

    Furthermore, I was working on Rhine platform bringup last week, which you can see on the Xperia Z1 forums with some ROMs being based entirely on our work. :D

    Anyway, hope to put out a release after July security patches are merged in LineageOS sometime this month (no idea when, don't ask).

    New release. I don't know what happened to the OP.
    Please restart once for camera to work.
    Please make a backup in TWRP before flashing, I haven't had any opportunity to test this myself.
    Also, make sure to flash the new recovery to avoid error 7, link is with ROM link in the OP.
    Flash with: fastboot flash FOTAKernel twrp_xxxx.img

    Right now we are trying to focus on getting good tunings for the CPU governor and hotplug to balance performance with battery life. Also, we are still working on the two final big issues which are random reboots at night (testing out a fix atm) and encryption support (and yes, Bluetooth probably).

    Changelog:
    Code:
    - ambient display support (can disable in settings)
    - tuned cpu hotplugging (won't wildly jump during idle anymore)
    - cleaned up GPS/location related settings
    - charging LED for <90% now actually orange
    - aptX codec support
    - Assertive display enabled
    - changes to USB current control
    - lineageos latest changes
    - call microphone quality improvements
    23
    ROM updated, most of the work was done by @rcstar6696 and @nailyk
    Code:
    - CPUQuiet hotplugging instead of MPDecision
    - Time services
    - Wifi mac address doesn't randomise anymore
    - Selinux enforcing
    - Wifi hotspot working (I think)
