When will the in-call mute fixed? I really want to use this rom but too afraid to use it as daily driver. I often mute the call when i work late night while my wife sleeping

Just restore them back one by one and keep watching the wakelock. You might catch the nasty app that's causing that insane wakelock.

No way! So it's not a ROM issue then.
Maybe one nasty app is doing that? Try not to restore any app on stock ROM.
What recovery you have? TWRP ?

Nope fully stock no apps installed not even rooted yet...
Here's something strange I discovered, when removing the sim card the phone operates absolutely normally; no drains and wakelocks (well as far as Touchwiz goes

). When I put the sim card back in, the issues start happening all over again.

Looks like the issue is sim card related (mine is 5+ years old now so it does make sense xD). Gonna try swapping it tomorrow, I'll see how it goes....

Yes you can...I usually flash the stock arm gapps package it fixew the telephone issues I just use Google's stock apps no issue

It could be our battery mate... My awake times are low now but I'm still getting same heatups and lesser backup times, I'm considering getting an Anker one that Tincho suggested, but we don't have Amazon or eBay here, and the local retailers don't have it -_- gonna get someone to bring it in for me

I don't believe battery is the culprit given that all the issues I mentioned go away when I remove the sim card...
Tomorrow am gonna find out if a newer sim card works or the radio on my phone is toast xD

If you are the only one having a problem. Boot into recovery, wipe data/factory reset, reflash the rom/gapps and nothing else. Boot up and see if the problem persists.

Yeah, spen is pretty much useless in aosp rom like lineage os
You could use spen buddy and spen cm add on for basic spen functionality. But beware, often times spen will cause note to freeze and crash
