to everyone with the slow charging issue, just flash Xthermal Mod. I flashed am running elementX Kernel too so its upto you. in my case charging is back on track as in the stock pixel rom fast charging wasn't working.

Using ampere previou scurrent input was about 200mA after flashing xthermal it went to 1880mA

phone dooes get hot but it works for me

You are right, I have tried that but anyway didn't like the heating of so gentle device. I already have experience with the LG Nexus5 that one day just got broken wifi chip on logic board only 2 weeks after warranty expired. The 5X seems to as well getting the hardware bootloop out of nowhere as ppl reporting so Nexies are still made to expire as soon as possible so you would be forced to buy newer and more expensive Pixel or so.

guys pls help me. i successfully rooted my phone and flashed twrp. i also flashed this rom. just by reading the article about magisk so that it can be successfully rooted. so i flashed it also and it turned to be error. so i wiped to the cache and all but not the internal storage. and when i rebooted it. it stuck on the google sign.:( pls help me

i suppose my devices was one of the good ones. it has gotten toasty when i was experimenting with it on multiple occasions and mine had no problem. just shut of once when the heatgot excessive but rebooted back normally.

I tend to play a lot but also tend ti play very carefully. I am not saying that thermal is bad but would rather have my device colder for several reasons. First it feels better then hot in hand, also not as pc machines you are not able to put there some more powerful coolers or fans. There were some reports if weak cold soldiered parts that can mess joints when hot, also very known is that heating the battery is not so good for the battery itself. I might be very wrong about these but that's just me.

Flash the ROM again. My experience with magisk was not solid as well, I root with latest SuperSu.

I love this rom the tried and tested and it is magnificent, but I made it backwards not being able to put the clock in the center of putting colors to the led notifications, let the modifications

In some future will have modifications like other rom, or will always be piro and hard stock

I got the one problem with this rom.
Is not possible to disable Ambient Display. If I disable it on options Ambient display works.
Can you fix this?

This aosp version is fst as all hell. Only issue I had was not being able to chose a restore from the cloud to have all my apps auto restored so I dont have to manually dload again. Other than that, holy cow!!

    This ROM is treat-as-stock ROM, port of Pixel 3 stock firmware, etc. It DOES NOT have any customization features like on other custom ROMs (except substratum of course), please do not ask me to add features that exists on "other custom roms". If you want just Pixel 2 stock experience, you are welcome.
