Instead of just installing development builds and not reading what the developers post about them you should probably either (a) stick to the officially released builds or (b) make sure to read where the devs mention important information about them, such as stating pretty clearly that the latest 'update' branch is NOT WORKING YET. MaaarZ only started updating the code but none of the features are expected to work.

You don't even have to read a whole lot to find it, just go back 4-5 pages and you'll see where comments about build #40 started popping up and where the devs replied to them with what's going on.

Last I checked the development build was 104 Jenkins was the source to go get the latest. By that I mean the if downloaded though xposed module, that never got updated. Last I remember from marrrz. I don't know if it has or not, it used to have the story bug.

Yeah both #104 of the "Official - stable" branch and #254 of the "M1kep - development" branch had some improvements over the xposed release, but because they're not official releases, they should still be treated as beta/development builds. On top of that, just like 3 pages back, MaaarZ pointed out that the development builds are technically only meant to actually be installed by the developers.

104 was recommended by maaarz a while back instead of using the xposed way. Either way, many is missing out on many new features snapchat has. That's why I gave up and with the fc's. With xposed not being on nougat this maybe coming to a end some day.

Ok, i see it's still a complicated story that snapprefs project with snapchat development speed..

Hi Guys. I'm using build ver. 2.1.0 (even tried build #104 recently) of snapprefs. Everything seems to be working fine in snapchat app except when taking a picture ? , it stops responding and closes. Any suggestions ? And yeah I'm using the preferred snapchat version.

Same! I just get fed up with the crashing and went to raw 10.6.6.0 for now.

I'm not sure what is going on with most of you. Ever since the release of 2.1.0 SP with 9.39.5. I have not had one issue. I'm using Samsung Note 5 with express7 rom. With many other modules for exposed like gravitybox and many others and don't have one issue. Other then SC sending those message saying I need to update but blah on that. I'll keep using this combination till......

The only issue I've run into is the size of my app growing larger...up to 1.5GB now. I wonder if it has to do with all the filters and lenses I've downloaded. Other than that 9.35.5. is working flawlessly. Can't wait for an update though.

It's all the media cache. Go into your root explorer and delete media cache folder in the app

Nah it won't force log you out and I do this all the time.
This media cache folder builds up the more snaps and stories you see and it's always good to refresh it by deleting it every so often so it doesn't take up too much memory.

Hey ! I finnaly managed to install Snapchat on my rooted device again and i installed XPosed framework and Snapprefs too. But when i activate Snapprefs and reboot, my home screen starts to blink and is unusable. That's really strange, i can still access the options etc without problem, but i can't open the grid and the homescreen isn't usable. Everything went great again when I unchecked the mod and rebooted my phone. What's wrong, what can I do to fix this ? :)

Btw I'm using an Asus Zenfone 2 Laser with the 64 version of XPosed.

    Installation

    Note: Obviously, you need root access on your phone.

    1. Download the Xposed Installer APK.
    2. Install the app along with the framework.
    3. Download and install the app from the repository.
    4. Activate the module in the Xposed Installer.
    5. Soft reboot your device.
    6. Configure the settings to your taste.
    7. Press the triangle to launch the text customization.
    8. Click share from Gallery and select SnapPrefs to send a picture from Gallery.

    Q: The Snapchat app force closes, what should I do?
    A: First of all, check if you are using a compatible combination of Snapchat and Snapprefs. (Look further down for the compatible chart)

    Q: I am using a compatible combination, but it still crashes, what now?
    A: Open the Snapprefs app, enable debugging mode, then kill the Snapchat app. Reproduce the issue and attach the log from Xposed Installer -> Log, in a CODE TAG, also cut down the irrelevant parts of it.

    Q: I have accidentally updated the Snapchat app, how can I roll back to the previous version?
    A: Download the needed Snapchat version from APKMANIA

    Q: I'm unable to log in to Snapchat, what should I do?
    A:
    1) Uninstall the Xposed Framework, not the Installer app, the Framework. (Kitkat and below can uninstall it from the Installer app, Lollipop and above have to flash the correct uninstaller zip. Finding the correct one will not be assisted here.)
    2) Boot up the device and log into Snapchat.
    3) Backup the data of Snapchat with Titanium Backup
    4) Install the Xposed Framework and you will be logged in. If you ever press the log out button, you will have to redo the whole process.
    4a) If you uninstall Snapchat, restore the backup from Titanium Backup to log back into it.

    Welcome to Mr.Yawnie's Custom Sticker Packs -post.
    Here I will share my work for you to use. Current packs include EmojiOne and iOS packs as well as my own extra stickers.

    Instructions on how to use:
    1. Download Snapprefs 1.4.9 or later
    2. Enable Custom Stickers from Snapprefs settings
    3. Download one of the sticker packs from below
    4. Extract the .zip you downloaded, so you end up with 2 zips (twitter_emoji...zip (only on 1.6.5 and below!). On 2.0.0b and above rename the zips to twemoji_2_png.zip and twemoji_2_svg.zip
    5. Copy those two zips to sdcard/Snapprefs/Stickers folder. Create the folder if you don't have it. (HOX! If it doesn't work, try Ext.SD/Snapprefs/Stickers)
    6. Kill Snapchat and open it again
    7. Use the custom stickers (usually in last tab, on the bottom!)
    8. PROFIT (and don't forget to press thanks!)

    How to use two or more sticker packs simultaneously:
    1. Add one custom pack first to sdcard/Snapprefs/Stickers
    2. Go to Snapchat, take the image you want and add the stickers you need from pack A.
    3. Go to file explorer and copy the pack B to sdcard/Snapprefs/Stickers and overwrite the current one (DO NOT CLOSE SNAPCHAT IN BETWEEN!!)
    4. Go back to Snapprefs, and you have the pack B to choose from. Apply needed stickers and you have stickers from two different packs.
    5. Send the snap or repeat to add stickers from pack C.
