So I figured out a way to install modified apks on our device without root I'm using a couple of team blackout apps and a modified version of slim launcher.

This is an overlay for black notifications and asop nav bar you need to install both for it to work.. Unistall the previous nav bar overlay if installed... as this overlay overrides It.. Reboot done.. So the theming on this is as good as it gets-currently as I cant properly theme notification text color thanks nougat..install a material black theme from Samsung themes -for the rest of the black theming...I've added a pixel nav with black notifications also- so install android.overlay.overlayandroid.apk+blacknotifactionspixelnavbar for pixel -overlay..+systemuislate for asop icons

Possible to do just Android M navbar Overlay_M_Nav_Icons for S8?

thanks yea here you go this is a pt.28 nav bar height mod..it's about the same size as the status bar..hit the thanks button.. I did not make the. 30.32.35 px the Dev's xda name can be seen upon install.

Is there something slightly bigger? Status bar size might be too small? Would it be possible to make Maybe 30/32?
And u should totally have a Donate link! Wouldn't mind to sending you something for a beer or 2 :)

It is borderline to small agreed..I will upload other sizes later to that post 30pt and 32pt and you can use this with my other overlays no need to uninstall the others.

I want to ask you, if you can make a Overlay with the Pixel Navbar but without black themed Notifications please. Cause when i install the Navbar from you a few Posts earlier, i have automatically black Notifications without to install the other apk.

Yes i know. But on this apk the Icons are filled. And on the Icons on previous page, the Icons are not filled. See pics. 1. Pic is the apk from first page, and second Pic is from apk from previous page.

    This is an overlay thread...for rro overlays -think layers not substratum..If you have any safe overlays you found works nicely with the phone. You can upload it...with a picture. You can install the overlays and apps found in this thread without root and can modify your system to have dark notifications, different nav bar icons, different nav bar height..etc these are very small like Kb's in size so it's lightweight also..please hit the thanks button there is a lot of work in these files..TAKE A SCREEN SHOT when you install these overlays in case you dont want it, because these apps have various names installed.
    the op is updated to like page 30 or something your going to have to do a little work and look around but hey you might also learn something along the way...use the search thread function to find your favorite devs work...

    This is my latest systemui i dont want this leaving this thread for now...arson you can do your thing with it in your thread..thanks @clck @envy~ for your help..this is about 60 hrs of work on top of what i had released last time.. New additions include pixel nav w/press added back in.. lockscreen rotation,home screen rotation if you use a launcher that supports it...no brightness slider go to display...,the clock is removed from status bar, the lock screen is cleaned,burn in protection enabled,its disabled stock btw..the quick settings clock divder has been removed and the date is now level with the clock.. a performance boosts for animations and a
    Cpu Boost For Panel View Fling..more colors added i think everything is colored that i can color.. I know im forgeting a few things.. All this in a 100 kb overlay without root enjoy.....hit the thanks button
    I will upload an asop icon nav bar version and one without nav bar mod...tommorow i will also upload this in blue eventually..
