Shouldn't be too hard..Can't seem to find the zips nexus 6p

I installed the last version of the arise. Everything seems to be normally installed but the audio is not processed through it. I'm using LineageOS 7.1.2 (23/06 - last release available). I've already installed Dolby Digital plus, V4a 2.3.4.0 (codename = "Beautiful") w/super quality audio driver, Dirac+, ICEsound, Arkamys, removed deep_buffer and DAP Qualcomm effects.
Anyone can help me?

Hey guys, new user here. I have been using ARISE since today morning. I always thought that sound mods are all placebo until today when I tried this gem on my own phone. And since then I have been listening to music for the last 5-6 hours (Saturday is a holiday for me ). Simultaneously, I have been reading the thread and so far troubleshooted all initial hiccups (not working with GPM, Poweramp etc.). Though I have a couple of questions which are more fundamental and I request someone to please help me with these:
1. What is the difference between Viper4ARISE and Dolby Atmos? I had only set 'true' for these 2. Please correct me if i am wrong, but both can work independently, and Dolby Atmos is an IRS, where V4A is beyond that and includes many more tweaks (I might be completely wrong)
2. In one of my V4A profiles, if I set a convolver IRS, is it recommended NOT to use it with Dolby Atmos (since both are IRS, they can interfere and may ruin the effect?). Though personally, I am using both and I like the result, the effect is additive and not destructive.
Thanks in advance!

you didnt say which icesound preset your using , but if not "2" try it. also maybe try restoring deepbuffer.
IF i'm not mistaken (going from 'old-guy' memory) , go to
/system/etc. theres a file called "icesoundpresets.def". take the preset of your choice and replace the preset file there. make sure are named the same and set same perms. reboot. profit.
save the one youre replacing , just in case :sly:

Thank you. Followed your suggestion. Great result.. I was on ice config 08 earlier (default). Changed it to 11. I guess I am digging dolby Rich preset over Open. Thanks again :good: :good:Both are DSP however in my experience this is what I have found: if you're going for strong surround sound processing, Dolby Digital Plus has a far better surround sound effect than Atmos.
However, Dolby Atmos is really good at processing spatial effects in stereo.
Personally, I set DD+ to the Music profile with Surround Sound enabled with the Open preset. Then, I do the same for Atmos, but without Surround Sound enabled.
Couple this with ice preset 2 and config 11 (wide clarity) and you got yourself an immensely powerful, spacious yet clear, setup.
Perfect for Car Audio
EDIT: add the Dolby Pro Logic II .irs file in viper to achieve maximum epicness

Car audio is one of my specialties and hobbies so I'd be more than happy to help make a custom setup for you. What make/model is your car? Factory or custom speakers? Bluetooth or Aux cable?Interesting set-up Ive been trying to make a setup for my car audio system.
Wonder if I can get similar results using PureS*** with the Dolby set up as I find that that present is perfect for phone speakers.

As for speakers, you can't go wrong with anything JBL made since it's a subsidiary of Harman Kardon. Personally, I think JBL makes some of the best systems for car audio. Thanks for the help it's an all stock Subaru Impreza 08 with radio transmitter to use as aux input as the stock didn't have one. Just bought custom radio today with Bluetooth and aux support going to get some aftermarket door speakers pretty soon just need to buy it. Any recommendations?

You can input your make/model and find speakers that fit it on crutchfield.com[/QUOTE
Cool I was thinking about getting the Boss 460BRGB which is is capable of both Bluetooth and Aux, I'll probably use Aux most of the time. I'll pair the radio with the JBL Stage 600C car speakers, do I need to just buy one JBL or do I need to buy 2 pairs one for the front and one for the backseat?
I hear these are good speakers you have any experience with them?

## Qualcomm™ Audio Effects Configuration START ##
# Qualcomm™ devices have the ability to select from four audio effects configurations using Android O (default), Asus, DAP (native Dolby Atmos), Huawei, Sony, or Stock /soundfx libraries.
# IMPORTANT!!
# If installing an audio effects configuration on a currently installed sound system, BE SURE TO INSTALL THE CURRENTLY INSTALLED MODULES AGAIN USING THE APPROPRIATE VALUES!!
# Installing Core is not necessary, but any other module IS NECESSARY so that those modules' entries are written to the new audio effects configuration!!
# As a reminder, any preferred or custom audio effects configuration can always be automatically installed during the Core System module installation by placing it directly in /sdcard named arise_effects.conf to result with /sdcard/arise_effects.conf.
