if I am not wrong only @thewisenerd and @ƒεηιx are owning mi4i. rest are switched to different devices. so please do not expect any new builds from other devs.Hi @Anandroy. I understand that you have lost your device and there is less incentive for you to publish blind builds of the ROM. Let me say it again - this is an excellent ROM. I am wondering if there are other Mi4i developers in the community, who still own the device, would be willing to take up your projects and continue the good work? I am comfortable with this ROM as its official and everything (except FM) works perfect! I am ok to try and switch to other ROM as well, if it is a stable ROM and if there is visbility of regular updates.

I'll make a final stable build after my exams... :good:@Anandroy - any likelihood of you continuing to build updated ROM?

there are two options
1. use @thewisenerd and @ƒεηιx builds, but they don't compile crdroid
2. if you want crdroid to be updated, compile it by yourself

What rom do you use now. I want to use this rom .hate with miui. I need a stable one. Is v3.0 is stable enough?I sincerely mean no offence to any of the developers. Hats off to each one of you. I can only imagine how much time it would have taken for each one of you to build and stabalise a ROM. So thank you to all! Each one of your deserves respect! Thanks to each one of you, I now have a more robust device in my hand compared to what Xiaomi initially offered. I dont think I will ever be going back to MIUI again, unless it comes down to selling this device and moving on to another one. So thank you @anbuchelva @faizauthar12 @thewisenerd @haikalizz @hashroot @ƒεηιx @fire855 @Shahan_mik3 @Nihhaar @Anandroy @rohanpurohit and every other developer whose name I may have missed out on mentioning.
I am just sharing my thoughts and experience. I spent almost all of yesterday (including all night) to test AOSiP, Lineage, XOSP and AospExtended. Each install was a fresh install of the latest ROM version along with the recommended firmware and OpenGapps. And I would admit, after trying all the ROMs, I came right back to crDriod. Some ROM gave me random reboots; some had battery issues (very slow charge and then fast drain), in some I could not adjust the CPU frequencies and hotplug, while in some the apps kept crashing. crDriod (v3) has been the closest to stable and smooth ROM I have come across. (Yes, v3.2 is messed up - inbuilt camera doesnt work and FM still doesnt work in v3.0. But I can live with that). In crDriod, I could adjust the hotplug and CPU frequencies to optimise battery life to best suit my usage. @Anandroy - it would be disheartening to see this ROM die.

Yes v3.0 is the most stable ROM I have come across. Only FM doesnt work. For resolving long GPS fix time issue, you can use TopNTP (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=by.zatta.agps&hl=en).

V3.0 has a functioning camera app in the ROM. Its the V3.2, in which the camera app is broken.
