Thank you very much but, the Enhanced Tags can't be used on the XDA App (at least not for me). Thanks to all for the suggestions:good: Please remember, an enhanced tag can only be created if threads are available for a device, this must be more than a single thread. Also, note to all, please use the device search function before requesting, you may well find the device you are after already exists. The following have been added: Lenovo S820, UMi Diamond, Motorola Moto C Plus, Lenovo A3500, Maze Alpha, Vernee Apollo X
Thank you very much but, the Enhanced Tags can't be used on the XDA App (at least not for me).
Though, it's a start and hopefully those devices will be implemented for its own, device dedicated, area of the forum.
I know there's a process and the Tags are better than nothing.
Thank you!

@O_G Please add Samsung Galaxy Trend Plus (GT-S7580) to the forum
There have been a few dozen requests for it in this thread, and it has enough threads to be added to the forum
+1
I'd like to request a forum for the BQ Aquaris M5: http://www.bq.com/gb/aquaris-m5
The company is based in Spain so the phone might not be known outside Europe, however this looks like a really promising model.
There is already a large number of users in Spain, however where if not here should the English-speaking community be started?
Thanks in advance!
Maybe an BQ forum would be a start, there are some post about other devices already here on xda.
Btw Kernel is here, and some CyanogenMods for the BQ E5/M5/X5 exists also.
I think the BQ devices should really get an own section. There are not many vendors which work as cloase with the development community as BQ and they use a nearly aosp vanilla interface and a bootloader which is easy to unlock
For example the BQ aquaris M5 (piccolo) has twrp and cyanogenmod 12.1 and 13 (unofficial at the moment)
I myself also already have compiled a ROM based on it.
I am sure xda would benefit from a BQ section.
P.S.: furthermore BQ gives to their devices codenames of Dragonball Characters/Places (Piccolo, Namek, Vegeta...)
BQ Aquaris M5...? Maybe we should give it a shoot
Sent from my Aquaris M5 using XDA Free mobile app
Aquaris E5 LTE (vegetalte)
Aquaris M5 (piccolo)
Aquaris X5 (paella)
All of the devices above have official LineageOS, it is insane that they don't have their own device forum. I don't know what the agenda here against BQ is, because people are asking XDA for ages for forums. I hope people reading this post see that something is ****ed up at XDA, when hundreds of devices with less development have their own forums.
Hopefully soon official LineageOS and already deserving their own forum:
Aquaris X5 Plus (gohan)
Aquaris U Plus (tenshi)
Thank you so much from the Redmagic users. You are the best.
Hello @Oswald Boelcke
I hope you are doing well.
A dedicated forum for Redmagic 9 Pro is required as the phone's bootloader can be unlocked now. Please check out the post below. I did messaged the concerned admins who are in charge to create device specific forums but they have not responded to me yet and if you could do anything to make a device specific forum for the aforementioned device, the community would be thankful to you and the admins.
Here is the first development thread for Redmagic 9 Pro bootloader. This will now hopefully encourage developers to develop custom recovery and other tools.
The Redmagic 9 Pro is a powerful gaming phone with unique features, attracting a growing community of enthusiasts. A dedicated forum would provide a valuable platform for users to:
While there may be discussions about the Redmagic scattered across other forums, a dedicated space would significantly improve the user experience.
- Share experiences and tips specific to the Redmagic 9 Pro.
- Discuss rooting, ROM development, and customization options.
- Troubleshoot issues and seek technical support.
- Collaborate on development projects for the device.
I believe the Redmagic 9 Pro has a strong enough user base to warrant its own forum.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
@mvikrant97
Hello @Oswald BoelckeI've to admit that I don't understand the rational of your post. First, my search doesn't show any post regarding the Nubia RedMagic 9 Pro on XDA. Please advise if you have other information, especially if development thread regarding this device have already been posted on XDA.
Second, what do you mean by "We need to separate the NX769J from being discussed inside the RedMagic 8/8s forums (NX729J)"? There's no device specific forum for a RedMagic 8/8s on XDA.
Thank you so much from the Redmagic users. You are the best.
I don't understand it either. I mean, with all due respect, development is in progress for the device (I'm involved in it too; I'll launch a new Los build in the next few days). XDA is a great place for discussion and to show such progress (and also to incentivate it). We have other threads opened recently for devices which don't have any development at all (for instance, the X6 Pro, x6 neo, etc). There's a forum for development if a device doesn't have a dedicated thread yet:
Or also one for guides and tutorials:
So, you might want to consider to encourage the developers you know to post their work there.
