Nice Rom! Perfect speed and amazing battery. Standby in Oreo is really improved.
I have one problem sometimes. Looks like chrome has some battery drain sometimes, according to the Android battery management. Not sure why and when, but once I stop chrome via app's, the problem is gone.
Someone else experience this?

Edit: sorry, misunderstood, I thought you were talking about the "Apps running in the background" notification.
Why don't you just swipe left or right on the notification, then tap on the wheel and choose disable the notification from there?
I didn't get any system update notification on this ROM so far, so I can't really tell if this would work. But that's how proceed to disable a persistent notification from one of my apps and it works just fine.

Well the problem with doing that for play services, it will not show Google home or Chromecast casting controls. If you don't care about that, let it roll!

Does this work for Tmobile yet? They just released a new official system image that supports Tmob.
I installed everything but I am receiving the no sim card error. I have reflashed the vendor image and am still receiving the error any suggestions?
Go to settings, system, developer options. Disable "Automatic system updates".
Can confirm update notification. Only 37 MB? Downloaded but not installed. Running this ROM and Franco kernel.
Also swiping left or right and turning notification off worked for me, notification instantly gone.

Oh sorry, I forgot to mention that I meant "on a moderate usage". And I know given any metrics, Nexus 6P will rip off Nexus 5 anyday. I'm hoping that someone answer me by how much more? And hence those 2 questions. The ask price is twice what I paid for Nexus 5, I want to be absolute that I'm getting twice the performance.
Is there a list of features I missed somewhere? There's some I can't live without like slim recents. Thanks
Its just stock ROM made flasheable, with the option to add a few things like A.R.I.S.E, subs, busybox, etc. No custom features other than the charging light that if enabled will break substratum.

I have the same problem, I cannot install the September 2017 update because my recovery is custom, TWRP.
What if I flash the Oreo 8.0.0 stock recovery.img and follow the classic way of update procedure?
Through the Android Project Tremble am I correct?
