I saw sth similar once or twice. For me it happened only to the SIM which had PIN, the PIN input dialog was not displayed and SIM remained inactive. (One of my sims is with pin and another is without.) When I rebooted, I could see the SIN pin dialog on the background behind the Shutting down message. After reboot there was still no PIN dialog. I managed to get the SIM dialog visible by changing the SIM network settings from automatic to manual and back, this popped up the dialog and I could enter my PIN.

After that, I have rebooted multiple times and have always been prompted for the PIN. Hope it helps.

I have tried rebooting and still the same, no sim showing.

I even reflashed tried alpha 4 this time, clean flash...same thing, no sim, no signal.
I do not used sim pin...so, that is not it either.

Thanks for the suggestion...I gave tried those as well.. I turned on airplane mode, tried the reboot then back on.... Still same results.
Could latest twrp have anything to do with this? I flashed with 3.1.1.0 but I don't think that is the culprit.

You have rooted phone? I get the same result often when I install Magisk or SuperSU.

Although the ROM creator will be very very sad because you leave. I mean the only reason he has been working very hard to bring oreo to the op2 has been to make YOU personally lucky. And you are absolutely right to be rude! It is very unfriendly of the creator that you have bugs! I mean he has the honor to make a 100% free oreo ROM for you, how can he dare not to deliver the quality you deserve!!!

Guys, lets just ignore this troll. It's not his fault he has no life and his sole source of entertainment is to post childish comments on forums about things he is not even remotely capable of understanding. He will get over it once he gets out of the puberty.

Android Auto issues

Hey, I'm having an issue here. Don't think is the same, but somehow this could be related.

When I plug the USB from my car after the installation of Android Auto, it was smooth. Now, before the installation, I got a recurrent reboot.

C'mon guys. He's doing this in his spare time so asking for ETA is pretty rude imo.
And those of you who complain about bugs need to understand this is a beta.
If anyone don't know what it means Google will help you.
Developer doing an amazing job and i love that even an old phone like OP2 can enjoy Oreo ?
Everything that I use daily is working flawlessly ?
Keep up the good work man, really appreciate it!

    • DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
    • Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
    • If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
    • If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log

    First BETA build is up! :p

    Feels good to make our way up-to beta. That being said, changelog and FAQ posts are updated. Make sure you read them before asking anything.

    Camera details
    Camera was real struggle to get working on OP2. Maybe I'm noob with cameras lol. Anyways, camera is in working state including video recording. This said, my wonderful testers went ahead and tested several third party camera apps and found out that they all were working fine. This includes Google Camera (from 4.1 to 4.4), OxygenOS Camera (OP2, OP3 and OP5), Open Camera, WhatsApp (Video calling and video recording), Telegram, Skype, Instagram, Snapchat and others. This update also fixes green photos while clicking multiple pictures.
    4K recording is currently disabled on the build to avoid lags and crashes. This will be added when los merges necessary patches

    About HAL3 and Camera modes
    As mentioned in my previous post, HAL3 is implemented and working properly on OP2 Oreo. Enabling HAL3 allows some cool stuff to mess with camera. All the camera modes (HDR, bestshot, RAW and lens blur) are found to be working.

    Things to follow up
    As we're on beta now, my aim is fix rest of minor bugs which are not fatal but sure annoy a lot for some. This will take time and the size of changelog will decrease too. We're insanely lucky to have Oreo running this good on our devices compared to others which are still struggling to get things working flawlessly.

    Though I was pissed to the extreme to see the mess in thread, I also noticed good ones who deserved the piece of work that I did ;)

    I'm sorry to over react yesterday but somewhere it tells me that it was necessary to put few things out. That being said, here's the update. I've worked hard for this update and this brings lot of fixes and squashes out annoying bugs.

    As usual, check post #2 and #3 for changelog and FAQ respectively.
