@Primokorn - I like the idea, one for the "live" translations, currently active and one for the resolved. That way anybody who joins can easily track what to take care of and has a good start.

The main thing is - I or anybody else should go through the thread (not such of a problem) and check every project to see what to put on the active list and what on the finished.
@novas78 - thanks, I appreciate this, already checked your profile on Crowdin, it's a good starting point.

If somebody else has a better idea, please share it with us! I'd love to see even more people on this :)

Well, guys, I do agree we really need some kind of projects list. Right now I cannot imagine what it would be like, maybe the links to active developers posts, our translators works (@novas78, for the instance) or something else, please suggest. We can't use @BurnHard system, as I wrote above, it's very hard to check all the projects if they're alive, thus we should compose something newer and more comfortable for us. I do not think we should open some document online, as @Primokorn suggests, we've got our thread here for this purpose. But maybe he is right, because we all cannot receive access to some post in our forum. Maybe, I should just post a link to such document? What do you think?
And I should note the translation project cannot be finished and resolved, developers keep updating their apps, you can follow the project for years, for the instance, I do translate new strings for Greenify, SD Maid, Gravitybox, PassKeep etc every week, we should somehow mark these projects, because they're alive and need constant work.
I just cannot expand first two posts, there's a limit in xda forum. But I can ask moderators to give me another post, if this is possible.

XDA is a forum and a forum is not a tool to manage projects. I started a thread several months ago to list FLOSS apps but I finally moved everything on Gitlab because it was a pain to maintain the list on XDA. Yet there's only one maintainer so I can't imagine having a project of translations managed from a thread on XDA.
IMHO this thread showcases our work but it can't really help to get an organized workflow.

About projects such as SD Maid, Greenify... We can imagine something like that:
1/ one sheet/doc for newly suggested apps
2/ one sheet/doc for apps that have been translated but new strings are added from time to time
3/ one sheet/doc for discontinued apps

My 2 cents ;)

It seems to be reasonable. My plee for the third post was accepted, we`ve got it. Let`s create these docs and add the links in this post, @Primokorn, could you please try? Just start, you`re very experienced, maybe Google docs or Github with link access, then we will ask the developers and translators to add the information. What do you think?

Professional mandarin linguist. Opt in for Chinese translation! :)

Great to see you joining translations! I reckon many Devs will appreciate this. If you would like to help out on Hue Essentials (on Crowdin, see earlier post by superthomaslab), that would be great!

Over the past weeks we had great translations from:
Primokorn, Dugi991, NCAA, Venborg, Noc-jfcbs, Dumreview, Novas78, Byzlo685, and many more from XDA. Thanks to all of you!

You're welcome! Thanks for coming here to thank us :good:
@gaich
I've found the tools. I'll suggest my proposal by the end of the week.

It was faster than I though :)

Proposal to manage the translations: https://primokorn.github.io/XDA_Translations/
It would be nice to have several contributors that can handle the pull requests. Don't know how you want to manage this. I just need your Github usernames to grant you access to the repository.
I can also transfer the repository to another person if necessary.
Let me know what you think. I'm new to this thread but I guess @gaich (at least) will also have access to the repository.

I have one question: how to manage existing apps that receive a major update with many new strings? Maybe posting in this thread is enough and/or temporarily mention those specific apps at the top of the README file (master branch).

To not spam this thread and have real-time conversations I created a team on Flock: https://xdatranslators.flock.com/?i=tldf6rtl6y8aldra
No registration. Just give an email address.
Could be useful until the repository is ready.

EDIT
Updating #post2 may be necessary to get the Github usernames too.

Absolutely concuring with @Primokorn. Nothing to add. I'm looking forward to further supporting your projects.
Brief remark: Only on Crowdin, my user name carries a dash as they didn't accept a dot.
