Oreo is still a work in progress with no current ETA, patience is the key. As for the launcher, it depends on the developer/ROM.
The stock pixel app is completely different from the pixel 2 launcher app. You can't install it as an upgrade. You can install it as a new launcher then uninstall or freeze the old one using titanium backup
Can someone provide me with SuperSUFixer.zip for Moto G4 Play? I lost my root after I factory reset the room. I need to reroot it , hence before flashing the SuperSU v2.82 zip I need to flash that. Please it's urgent.

Upstream AEX remains on Nougat; no ETA for Oreo. Can't build what doesn't exist.
Hahahaha I'm not sure why the normal people drool over the bleeding edge on the software side, IMO it should be stable or GTFO.
Now, if your OCD and anxiety could not be resisted, you can get a fix with the Oreo crDroid build that's out there, I haven't seen another active public Oreo ROM in my research.
Alternatively you can learn how to compile your own ROM, but that requires a beefy rig. Now if you stop asking for ETAs and let the devs do their job would be amazing, I can tell you that the pressure is not well received when you're working on software.
No official thread here on forums. You'll have to Google it. I wouldn't recommend it though. A lot is broken
