Hello,

Thank you for this tool.

On this post I've attached splash.img from bq Aquaris M5 (full firmware available on the link).

I think it's supposed to be very similar with bq Aquaris X5 plus splash.img although I've tried to extract splash.img using the tool provided for X5 plus but it got stuck (maybe only the extraction part doesn't work...).

Anyway, please test it, ok?

Well, bq Aquaris M5 splash.img is not compatible with CM-Splash.

But, I was able to get it done by using @kalvin026 tool (thanks bro):

Google version Pixel 2 (non XL), Qualcomm MSM8998 Snapdragon 835

I've used this semi-successfully: [BOOTANIMATION] Pixel 2 Dark Bootanimation v2 (1080p 60fps)
I'm trying to have a black background on reboot.
Problem is, it starts white then turns black. I posted a video of what using the other Dev's bootanimation zip does.

Would you mind checking my splash img? It's from Axon Mini B2016.
Im trying to use this code.

Code:

But im having this error:

Hi, it's empty.. In Xperia devices, I think it's in the bootloader itself. So it's not recommended to change.

Snapdragon Galaxy s8 does not have a splash partition either, and so far all of my attempts to find it have been unsuccessful. Do you have any idea where it may be?
