1. Did you dirty Flash?
2. Are you encrypted or decrypted
3. Any other special steps taken like removing pin or fingerprints? Or flashing no Verity after or magisk?

So I guess we can update from 4.5.15 to 5.0.1 (unlocked, rooted, encrypted) the regular way (simply flash from twrp) with this recovery?

I just flashed from 5.01 to the new Beta 3 with only wiping cache and dalvik...... I'm so glad and thankful.

I've flashed universal codeworks twrp , how am i suppose to know it's codeworks and not the standard twrp . Is is supposed to come up on the home screen or something ?

Yes but with format data.
Previously im on 4.5.15 with magisk and encrypted
1st i format data then installed oreo 5.0.1 full zip and Magisk 5.12.. Wipe cache and dalvik reboot and enjoying oreo with rooted magisk.. :cowboy:

Thanks a lot for the Universal Codeworkx. So the New Build can be used on Oreo 8.0 or 8.1 regardless of OOS or Lineage OS

I flashed both the 8.0 and the universal version. Both work, however they are stuck in Chinese mode no matter what language I choose. Anyone else? I didn't have this issue with any other twrp variants
