Please consider nougat. Would really appreciate it.
So, the camera dont work for videos...Then I try a thirty part app, (open camera) and... Dont work for videos either...

can please someone take a test for me?
I've done a clean flash (ODIN Samsung Official - TWRP - RR - MAgisk - Gapps), and the terminal is smooth as butter, but, when I launch MiniGore2 (free app w/ no ads) I can't do nothing and FC.
This happens with RR and LOS.
I've tried as well the updated driver from qualcomm but no luck.

Yeah it's still a very good phone, especially with removable battery. I still use mime as backup.
The battery is removable on the newer phones too. Just not as easily ?
hum, it will take a time, i have to synchronize sources, and my hdd is not very fast so i understand know how hard it is to compile a rom :/
How do you even download this rom am I retarded? I click on "KLTE [Generic GSM: SM-G900/F/K/L/W8/AZ/T/M/R4/V]" and it brings me to a sourceforge page where it says "this folder has no files"
There's an option in that page that says to download the latest version but apparently the latest version is 6.0.0 20180308 but the original post claims that the latest version is 5.8.5 20171231 can someone explain this?

you can no more download the official builds of 5.8.5 since 6.0.0 is out on the official site. the official version of 6.0.0 for the klte is not released yet, that's why the folder is empty. you can still download the rom here https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=817906626617957559 it's an unofficial build, but it's more recent. if you want to try the new rr 6.0.0 you can download the last unofficial build here https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=962187416754465710 but it's not very stable and a little buggy

Yup; trust me, I know that feeling.
I was using a sweet, sweet on-demand Azure VM (20 core, 140GB of RAM) to do my builds.
Even with that setup, it still took 4+ hours to do all the builds when it was ~10 variants.

Installation Instructions
- Read about Android Nougat and its changes before flashing
- Download the latest build of Resurrection ROM
- Download Gapps (ARM 7.1 Pico/Nano/Other)
- Download Root Image (Magisk or SuperSU)
- Take a nandroid backup
- Required - Wipe system, cache, dalvik cache
- Recommended - Wipe data/factory reset (REQUIRED if not RR 5.8.x previously)
- Flash ROM and Gapps using latest TWRP recovery (3.x)
- Flash Root Image (Magisk or SuperSU)
- Flash Volume Mods or any other mods you might have (Suggested - v1 Lite)
- Reboot.
- First boot may take a while... (up to 15 minutes)
