Thanks Lee!
That's the nougat build ?
On Oreo all is fine.....think it's time to jump ship towards some Android O
Yes. Still on Nougat. Heard lots of horror stories about O so I thought I'd wait until all the bugs were worked out.

Can't say i have any bugs. Except for the battery drain weeks ago which are gone now after i updated again from nougat.
Why not give it a go (if you are s-off it's easy to go back anyway)
Thanks guys, I'll take a look
Edit: Actually, it looks like Verizon hasn't released O firmware yet. So looks like I'll have to stick with N for now.
What is your current standby vs screen on on time with Oreo? I was getting around 4hrs SOT with O, that's why i rolled back. But I'm intrigued about yours.
That's why S-OFF is so awesome

No idea, not monitoring it at all. I get through the day easily average from 6:00 in the morning til 22:00 in the evening with moderate use.
By moderate use i mean some calls, whatsapp (lots of pron pics of course), facebook. Mail has push sync (3 accounts) and a bit of xda activity.....
Interesting. I'm willing to give it another shot. After all, that's the beauty of being S-OFFed
Just give it a go. I think personally it's not really the software that is giving in, the majority of the HTC10's in the world are over 1.5 years old, batteries themselves are slowly going in a state of decay. I think that is problem number 1
Yep mine as well but I don't mind 4hrs screen on time is still enough for me and this phone is still one of the best phones i have had thanks to this ROM. I just signed up for a 1 year sim only contract so as long as it last me another year I'm in no hurry to upgrade it.Yes @MrHofs - exactly. I can tell the battery in mine is slowly sinking, and it's ok for me. Certainly given my battery an easier time in its old age.
My battery started decaying very quickly after about 14 months of use. The symptoms suddenly appeared within a rather short time frame... screen-on time fell to around 90 minutes per charge, and my average standby time was under 10 hours! The phone would also charge from 0 to 100% in under 30 minutes. The last straw was when the phone began randomly shutting down with 20% showing on the battery indicator.Yes @MrHofs - exactly. Sorry OT I know, but is there any evidence that it's better for long-term battery lifetime to slow-charge when convenient (eg overnight)
