magisk after ota never worked 4 me

there is no step 2 in ota. after step i only have the option to reboot. when installing magisk in this moment to slot 2 the phone goes in bootloop

You can consider step 2 as "Installing AND before rebooting".

1) Restore Stock Boot Image
2) Download and install OTA (installation happens automatically after download, that's step 2 in magisk tutorial).
3) Install Magisk to second slot (After OTA) from Magisk Manager.
4) Reboot phone.

Thanks, it work for me.
How can I make a patched boot? Please guide :)

Firstly you have to extract the stock boot image from the fastboot rom -- I extracted the stock boot.img from @oreo27 april's fastboot image post -- and you put it anywhere in the phone's internal storage. Then you can patch it with Magisk. Open Magisk --> Install --> Install --> Patch Boot Image File and then you get as output a patched_boot.img file.

That's not mine. I just took the link from @Displax if I recall correctly.

There are 2 versions in that link, what is the difference?
One is 'T', one is 'F'

Yeah, i would love to know this too. I tried google but got nothing.
EDIT: i think i figured it out but it would be nice if someone can confirm this: T is for TWRP and F is for Fastboot?

This ir right. T for TWRP, F for Fastboot.

i'm already on april update. when i boot on pached boot, magisk says the it is already installed, but when i reboot, magisk is uninstalled. did i do something wrong?

That's the way it should work. You temporary boot your phone from the patched_boot.img (with: fastboot boot patched_boot.img) which is already rooted, and then you can patch (direct install with magisk) your phone's stock boot.img and have root permanently. That way you can restore the stock, unrooted boot.img with magisk before OTA and then patch it again after the OTA, following the second part of the guide in the OP.

Here is a easier process if you really want to check if the boot.img is compatible:
First enable OEM Unlock in developer settings
    - Reboot to fastboot (volume down + power)
    - fastboot oem unlock (won't wipe)
    - fastboot boot patched_boot.img
    - After Android finishes booting, install Magisk Manager.
    - In Magisk Manager, use Install and install the latest Magisk with Direct Install
    - Reboot and you're done
