Yes it works.. I'm using Mi_A1_Dual_Camera_For_Custom_Roms_V1.2.zip.. but its FC if u turn face detection
This is the log of the error I get when I try to install the latest build.
I'm able to install other files except the ROM. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong.
PS: I've tried both the latest TWRP and Deadman's version from fastboot but both were the same

Hope it helps.Flash that every time after flashing a ROM so you don't need to use fastboot anymore.

You need to reboot to recovery after flashing the TWRP Installer zip. Then you can install files properly.
I did. It still didn't work.
All it showed was

Step 2
Then it exits

The exact message after the installing message is:

It actually installed, sorry for the false alarm.

Any experts know how to solve this isse?
I cannot send sms when "Enhanced 4G LTE Mode" is turn on and i also got the VoLTE icon on the status bar (my country and carrier does support VoLTE)
I turn off "Enhanced 4G LTE Mode" then I can send out sms. Why and how to resolve the issue if I want to on Enhanced LTE and also allow sms to be send out.
No such issue on my Galaxy S9 or iPhone X even with VoLTE turn on, only this A1 giving me this problem.

* LED for notifications is not working
voLTE is reported as not working by some users, I don't have this feature in my country, please do not post about this, if I find a definite fix ill add it otherwise I can't fix it myself.

* Softkey navbar doesn't enable in settings menu

DON'T FLASH GAPPS, ALREADY INCLUDED
Steps:
1. Use latest TWRP
2. Wipe data if coming from any other rom(!)
3. Flash Rom (No need for gapps, do not flash them, they are included!)
4. Flash TWRP (optional)
5. Reboot to twrp and flash magisk (optional)
6. If you are coming from stock, you needt toDownload: bootloader and flash userdata.img from stock nougat

Solution for all fingerprint issues (will add to OP as well):
So I had several issues both on my phone and others, even wiping data didn't work, the solution afetr digging in is actually really simple and works 100%.
1. Download latest Oreo stock fastboot from Xiaomi
2. Flash using miflash with full wipe and lock
3. Once you get to setup wizard don't setup anything, reboot back to bootloader
4. Flash userdata image from august nougat stock
5. Format userdata to get correct userdata size
6. Boot latest TWRP and flash latest Pixel Rom
7. Flash TWRP (optional)
8. Reboot into recovery and flash latest magisk (optional)
After this all 5 fingerprint work fine including delete, no more left over fingerprint after deleting, solution is permanent unless you downgrade to nougat stock, then you have to do the procedure again.
