Hi,
I am interested on flashing this ROM on my redmi4x
I am currently on latest stock miui. No bootloader unlocked, no custom recovery, no root, nothing.
So, I need to learn the full procedure from stock miui to lineageOS with root and gapps pico, step by step....
Can anyone suggest me a thread/any threads where all these steps are explained?
Really thanks
Try watching on youtube on how to unlock bootloader. Then flash a custom recovery (twrp). There is so much reference on the net especially on youtube. There you can learn the basics just like what I do.
so, is this the correct workflow?:
1- Unlock the bootloader
2- Install TWRP (official one)
3- Install lineageos + gapps like in the first post of this thread
4- install magisk for managing root
Is this correct?
Again, thank you.

As i didn't tried this Rom. I'm also new here so... Searching for a stable rom from almost 2months because.. everywhere bug reports. Idk only for some users or..
Someone suggested me this rom is stable.
But its someone also reported some bugs and i got confused. Then installed AospExtended 5.7.
Seems stable enough to use as daily driver.
Will try soon brotherOr you could try using the official pitchblack latest custom recovery build. You can try using havocOS oreo final build 9/16. It's good. Pretty good. But yiu can experiment on which rom suits you.

Nop. It will take time to get pie stable as oreo i think. It is on worldgiz. Also pie builds of havocos are good, as what others said.
