No kernel upstream,no October security patch

Dev,please give us latest security patches,you are the only developer currently working on Oreo,everyone already left the Oreo and started working on pie,pie need some time,maybe couple months to become full stable and get full customization like Oreo,for now sticking with Oreo is better for many users.

what is wrong with your security. are you hiding from secret service?
and i will not upstream kernel

why do you need it all having old proprietary

its just stable all(ok, many)-inclusive custom rom.
its not at the top edge of progress

I'm not demanding or anything,iam just saying.about security its good to have up-to-date patch,I mean its not some kind of impossible work to add an security update every month,no I'm not hiding from any secret services lol,if i really hiding from someone,they will find me no matter what,even if I build fortress around myself. :laugh: your ROM is awesome,iam getting really good battery backup and good performance,just want to up-to-date that's all

again no demanding just my opinion :angel:

Security patches are generally source code sided. Liquid remix have to update it.

i think yes
i also use f2fs for cache and data (with internal storage)

I don't go by other phone's studies, generally apps opening faster, ui is fast, overall everything seems snappy than ext4.. you should try urself and see..

there's one problem though, clean flashed but couldn't get face lock back...

Root management setting crashes, Lock screen rotating(Disabled in setting).
PS: Anybody has working Dolby Atmos link as it's non treble build?

Root manager crash is magisk issue.

I'm facing that crashing too .. but I'd rather open magisk itself than from settings..

with magisk manager v 6 may be. with v 5 works fine
if auto rotation is off? no rotation by me. orientation tile works fine even on lock screen

f2fs is implemented since mm

Root setting crash is a minor bug no need to waste time on it,
Surprisingly rotation of lockscreen fixed automatically. Thanks for the update. Mainly use for BB so I'll be monitoring it.
