show off your home screens

Wow those are all great but I especially love the first one! Here's a stupid/noob question I probably should've asked before posting my stuff, and well to be honest it just now occurred to me:
Is it something to show off theme/home screen-wise if the resources being used aren't your own original created works?
Or is it how creatively you can use the resources everyone has available to them but use them better or just different and original way?
Obviously I'm cheering for option 2! I can slop together a background using paint, Photoshop,or whatever like anyone can but i really don't want to have to learn how to create an icon pack.. I'm too old

Not sure I understand, but you can do whatever you like, it is courtesy to always give credit whenever possible.

Yeah I was over thinking things just a bit much. That's the last time I let self doubt take over my keyboard (yeah right lol).
