Will it works on redmi 5a miui 10 oreo 8.1. I read the requirements but I don't know if miui is treble or non treble or it is on fabians unified tree.

i like it.i think you will update it.I like the kernel for redmi 4a
Unfortunately the battery drain is much higher. But the higher CPU / GPU is not bad as daily driver
I'll stay on aosp extended pie and will go for the kernel when I need more performance (music Bluetooth is laggy on stock ROM when use amazon music)
