It saves the pictures everytime now? Which fix?I flashed the stock camera fix I found here and it works! No lag now.
I found it here bro somewhere in the thread let me try and attach it, it saves to Google pictures and appears in my Gallerie app. Just flash in twrp.
I always use usb otg for twrp backup and migrate app for my monthly backup and also perform monthly data backup on my pc just to remain safe. As someone said "GREAT POWER COMES WITH GREAT RESPONSIBILITY". As we guys tinker our devices and become power user thus its always recommended to have a backup.
Dev always recommend to clean flash a rom over dirty flash. Few points to remember before updating this rom:-
1. Remove any pattern/password (just in case encryption causes any error) and disable all magisk modules.
2. Use twrp recovery over updater as we have to flash DFE zip.
3. Always perform a backup of your rom using twrp.
4. Go to TWRP >>mount partitions>> Clear system, cache, Dalvik (Don’t WIPE data and internal) >> flash the vendor and firmware zip >> flash the ROM update files and other zip like g cam zip etc (also flash any kernel if you want) and lastly DFE zip (you don't have to flash separate magisk)>> Clear Cache/Dalvik>> Reboot system.
5. DFE doesn't erase anything its a tool to disable forced encryption.
and from what i've seen this would make sense.https://github.com/crdroidandroid/a...mmit/a9d9f3c62fb456d8c47c582900011a9b5d4f9a10
This is the reason for stable signal in crDroid.
2. The signal reception on this rom seems to b best compared to other custom roms available, is that really the case or the signal strength is just shown boosted?
since i was having issues with cell reception using another custom rom (lineage os) i started a thread about it here and similar experiences with almost every popular custom rom were reported.
also crdroid got specifically recommended because of better cell reception so i tried it myself and can confirm this.
as a possible solution this was pointed out:
and from what i've seen this would make sense.
my question now is: are there plans to implement this into the pixel experience rom?
maybe it has already been fixed because one user reported this yesterday:
Can you please tell me how to do it?Is have installed the latest Gcam, disabled the buffer fix and flashed the twrp fix. Snappy!
