Do you get 1080p 60fps with gcam?
I get 720p 120fps with Open Camera app.
But, with gcam I only get 30fps in 1080p and 4k
Are you sure?Yes.
I updated non root locked bootloader Mi A1 8.1.0 01.11.2018 OPM1.171019.026.V9.6.8.0.ODHMIFE on 24.12.2018 to 1069.1MB 05.12.2018 PKQ1.180917.001.V10.0.3.0.PDHMIFK and lost LTE channels. After the update supported bands were just 1/3/5/40/41 (NV Browser/LTE BC Config/1649267441685). Prior this update Mi A1 support bands 1/3/4/5/7/8/20/38/40 (NV Browser/LTE BC Config/687195291869).
Today I updated to 71.5MB 05.01.2018 PKQ1.180917.001.V10.0.4.0.PDHMIXM and got the LTE channels back. I already tested channels 1/3/7/20 in real.
It is interesting that Mi A1 on Oreo supported bands were 1/3/4/5/7/8/20/38/40, but now with Pie Mi A1 support one more band 1/2/3/4/5/7/8/20/38/40. So no channel 41. I checked it with QXDM: NV Browser/LTE BC Config/687195291871.
I'm about to buy the A2 Lite because it supports LTE Band 2, the A1 with Oreo (October patch) doesn't (see attachment).
Could somebody please confirm that they've added LTE Band 2?
That would be great news for us in South America, because that would mean that now we would be able to use Movistar LTE.
Without any doubt. I dialed *#*#717717#*#* to enter diagnostic mode and read LTE BC Config right from phone's NV memory by QXDM tool. I checked Mi A1 with Oreo 11/2018 and Pie 1/2019 in my post.
Thank you for confirmation my post.Check specifications for MI A2 or MI A2 lite, LTE bands on MI A1 are just the same.
LTE FDD:B1/B2/B3/B4/B5/B7/B8/B20
LTE TDD:B38/B40

Right in this thread, see this my post:I think someone confirmed that in another thread around here but I can't seem to find it. Might want to have a look around, it's here somewhere, I read it yesterday ?
reinstall 9.0 December fastboot Rom and you will be able to install the update
Download this fastboot package https://mega.nz/#!l8dy1AiA!cbc6iiLjsTCLIB8vVn_O7mIZ3AjaUAtVlyBfhrJSI-0
You will not loose data, just extract this package on the same Fastboot / Adb folder and run the .bat file
Pie should've improved my battery life but it's actually going down the drain. I can barely make it through the day with a full charge and I loose about 15 to 20% overnight.
First it was LTE, now this. I'm really starting to miss how stable and good the last 8.1 update was.
That's weird, because users praise the opposite, including me. Much better battery consumption in Pie with adaptive battery. Did you checked consumption of your apps?Pie should've improved my battery life but it's actually going down the drain. Maybe your battery is just dying...Yeah I've checked it but there is nothing noticable. The battery loses a lot of charge over night and when I was using it this morning for checking a newspaper's website I could just see the percentages drop.
Use comments app on stock rom!!Stupid question: is there a way to report bugs directly to xiaomi? like VoLTE doesn't work?
I just hope it does more than just deliver the monthly security patch. Oreo is far from perfect yet
Only March? I am already using android PHas anyone received March update??? How can I force it?!?!?? c'mon I need that precious sugar
