I can assure you if you search "trojan eleo" in google, you will find an article that says I am not a human, but a trojan virus. You get what you search for.
Lol, for sure.
I've been using mixolorer myself as my main file explorer for years now. I wasn't searching for "viruses" or "spyware", etc lol.
I just wiped my device and was in the market again for a file explorer, and since mixplorer is what I had been using, I first came here to check what the latest version is, and I noticed there are many other versions I was previously unaware of (including some not in the 6.x line, which 6.x is all I ever used). So I searched for something like "mixplorer best version" or something like that.
Then I wanted to see what phone arena had to say about it, which led me to those comments.
So yeah, that's why I posted asking for info, I knew others would have more insight

1 ) it's extremely easy to start a fire with a post like that, and 2 ) wanted to be absolutely clear explaining to anyone reading this conversation what the original 'accusation' as such was.
Off-topic, but a related tip; Firefox for Android is a full-fledged browser and runs uBlock Origin perfectly. ( As well as Privacy Badger, https Everywhere, et al. )
1) Yes, you are quite right, it is very easy. Which is why I was trying to be as transparent as possible, plus the fact that I noticed some replies in this very thread that mentioned the use of baidu, which is considered spyware, as it does send info to China, so I just wanted to ask others, such as yourself, for some more of the 'infos'
2) Good call, I didn't think something on phone arena would be blocked by ubo, or by anything for that matter. So, yeah, good to let others know, for sure.
- And thanks for the tip! :highfive:
I was aware of that, but didn't think the need to double check a phone arena article for something like that!
But I have been a fan of KIWI for quite some time, it is the best overall mobile browser, imo, and it is my go-to browser on Android. It's great at blocking ads, speeding up the mobile web browsing experience, etc, etc.

And seriously, as
@Ultramanoid said above, dont believe anything without a proof. If is so easy to dishonor anything without a proof...especially on web.
And yes, baidu is used very wide in China afaik for storing files
Right, you are! Which is exactly what I was doing here!
