Installation..........
Download the required files needed...Rom, Kernel, Audio Fix, these are just the basics. You can download the rest if needed after Installing.

Its best if you have a OTG cable or USB to Micro USB adaptor. If not NO biggy.

1. Reboot into Recovery
2. Select "Wipe" then " Advanced Wipe" and select all of the Options except USB storage, Do this 3 times to ensure a Clean Install
3.Select "Install" and located the Rom file and "Swipe" to commence the Install, You' ll be greeted by the Aroma Installer....Pick your Options and allow to Flash. Once done go back into Recovery.
4. Select the "Kernel" you want to install, This will bring up another Aroma Installer. Choose your options. & wait for completion once done head back into Recovery & choose to Wipe Dalvik/Art Cache
Now at this point your good to go......Exit Recovery and Boot up, It'll take about 10 to 15 mins to complete.
5. Setup your phone as you normally would and once completed, Its best to try placing a Call to see if you need to flash the "In Call Audio" fix file. you'll know if you do cause you'll hear nothing......Don't worry!!!
Reboot back into Recovery and proceed to Flash the "Fix" file remembering to Wipe the Dalvik/Art cache when you done. Then reboot your phone.

Once rebooted you should be greeted with the "Android is Starting" process which can take anything up to 20 mins depending on how many apps it has to process. Once that's complete try calling out again to ensure you have audio. Then go ahead and try everything you use on a Daily basis too ensure everything is working.

There are other Fixes available to other things, Just download and Flash in Recovery if you need them..

The link to Alexega is on the first page posted just above the info for Infinity. The link to Alexega V2 is posted a couple pages from here.
The rest of the files you should already have. Eg.... Kernal, Audio fix.

just flashed the new alexega rom.. anyone know how to disable the nav bar and what the righr dpi setting is?

There is a link somewhere in these pages. I have seen it, I'd suggest back reading or using the search bar to find it. I've just opted to hide it by tapping the small white dot a couole times which is located next to the recent tab in the nav bar.

As for the display I have mine set to WQHD 2560 x 1440. And works for me... Haven't experienced any problems. I also chose to reflash using Magisk for root as i wanted to hide root from a couple apps.

OK so I've just had a look. And to hide the Nav bar completely you'll need to go into Settings. Find and tap on System Interface. Scroll down to you find Navigation Bar. Tab on it and at the top where it says "Height of Navbar "
Set it to Zero...... All done.

I don't think there is a fix for netflix that I know of. Something to do with the safety pass???

I knew there was a buildprop edit you could use, but that was for the note 4 custom roms.

You could try hiding root with Magisk if your rooted with it.

I downloaded the rom set and installed INFINITY. It IS a great rom. What's the DIFFERENCE between the ROMS available?:eek:

Developers are different which means these both are developed by top ones for note 5 with their own set of customizations and tweaks to improve performance as infinity have more customization options which are available in infinity box w.r.t khongloi version.

At the end both are master pieces and choice always as per user needs like some people's like infinity and some khongloi. Good luck and enjoy the ride. [emoji3][emoji106]

If your referring to the "In Call Audio" then try this one.

I can personally confirm this fix works.

*****Note******

If your running any other Rom apart from Alexega you'll be good to go...If your running Alexega and have root it won't work...Will need to reflash that without root then apply the fix then root.

    Infinity DX5 Installation and Optimizations Guidelines

    Hi Guys,
    Once again here with some experience to help out XDA friends and below are the steps for installation and Optimizing DX-5 to achieve max battery life and less (ZERO) Errors. So lets start,

    Important: Always take nandroid backup (backup in TWRP recovery) of all partition before going to test anything thru recovery or system modification.

    1- 4 wipes (Cache, Dalvik,System and Data) (Internal storage format is optional but its most helpful in reducing chances of errors)
    2- Flash ROM DX-5, Please consider downloading from developer shared source which is youtube link instead of direct download (See OP for latest Links)
    2a- Now flash game tool fix by @Kings Android & @Thanfhuongf

    3- Reboot and wait
    4- Finish the setup and let it away for some time to settle OS better, you can reboot device again with lapse of 5-10 mins for better results
    5- Optional you can flash debloat script for removing unnecessary apps and battery drainer if you dint want them (See the script for apps details which will be delete after flashing)

    6- Now we need to set the resolution to FHD which can be done easily with Easy DPI changer (take it from play store) instead of Android terminal which need to be run commands and some users have faced difficulties to use.
    7- Open Easy DPI changer and set the resolution 900 by 1600 in second column of app and after that you have very zoomed resolution. At the same step you need to set DPI at 330 which you can change from first column of app. (You can also set FHD thru infinity setting- Note5 tweak)
    8- After successfully changing the resolution to FHD you need to go to developer setting which is hidden by default and can be accessed by tapping 7 times on build number in setting -> about tab. Once you are in developer setting, you need to find out the Minimum Width Tab and set Minimum Width to 411. After doing this you are now on proper FHD setup.
    9- Now you need to change the camera video recording to 60 FPS or any above option to get rid of video recording issue. (Go into video settings of camera app and set video size to FHD (60 fps) for error free video)
    10- Shealth and related services needs to be freeze or delete as Samsung health causing reboot and battery drain which cause leggy and slower performance. (optional game optimizing service and related things if you are not using or have any issue)
    11- Now update all your apps thru Galaxy Apps and after than from Play store. (Bixby giving FC before update and after update it will be fine and running smooth without FC's ++ some apps shows FC's after update if its happened then clear cache and etc or otherwise uninstall updates)
    12- Last but most important delete or freeze all unwanted apps for better battery life and error free experience.
    13- Navbar can be hide thru infinity control setting

    I have tried to cover all expects related to DX 5 optimizations and if anything missing then you guys can add it to help new joiners and friends who have not much knowledge about flashing and etc.

    Experience since flash:-
    Its running amazingly smoother, cooler, Error Free (not observed a single FC and Reboot) and fast. Battery life is much better for me 51% battery available for fun even after over night drain (5% in 6-hours) along with 1.4 hours SOT and its first cycle after flashing ROM.

    Moreover DX5 still in optimizing phase and you can find upcoming fixes and improvement in future posts of this thread so keep an eye on it.

    Infinity DX4 Installation and Optimizations Guidelines

    Hi Guys,
    Again here with some experience to help out XDA friends and below are the steps for installation and Optimizing DX-4 to achieve max battery life. So lets start,

    Important: Always take nandroid backup (backup in TWRP recovery) of all partition before going to test anything thru recovery or system modification.

    Below are the steps for installation and customization for DX-3 to achieve max battery life. So lets start
