You're right, this is the last official firmware for a this tv-box.
But because the Chinese celebrate their own happy new year this firmware will be officially released after February 12th.
I bought this tv-box last week with this firm

I get "Signature verification failed" when I try to update with the provided zip via the "Local update" function.

I updated through local update method, there was no such error.
However after updating, I found that there is no DVB-S2 option in DTV app.

I also had same and again reverted back to this version due to non availability of DVB-S2 in DTV app in new firmware.

Around November 2018 is KI Pro produced with a different DVB module. This fix is for boxes manufactured before November 2018.
Fix for KI_PRO-AVL6862-ota-20181221.141952.V0213 and future versions. DTV app with DVB S/S2 for old DVB module (old KI Pro). Stock DTV app install via TWRP

KI_PRO_AVL6862-ota-20181221.141952.V0213 firmware problems:
- After updating no DVB-S/S2 option in DTV app.
- DRM Widevine level changed from L1 to L3

20180914 fix:
+ DVB-S/S2 option availabe again
- DRM is still L3

The DRM level of my KI Pro changed to L3 with 20181221 firmware. Can anybody confirm this? Flashing back older firmwares the level goes back to L1.

I am trying to install TWRP on my ki pro, which is completely stock (on KI_PRO_AVL6862-ota-20180321.112623.V0213).
I downloaded it from https://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=78853207&postcount=245
put it (the 'recovery.img' file) on an empty USB stick or sdcard and powered-on with the button pressed for several secords. I always get to the stock recovery screen, so I cannot install it.

Anything I am doing wrong?
Any other way to install it?

well i just wanna to know.. from the old Tuner and the new one. . the supercam binary at new apk are larger size as the old one.. did this supercam new version... .. can we add it to our old tuner... or did it worth to do this
