Tested 1.5 and 2.0 on a Galaxy s9+ snapdragon and a rooted moto x4

The 1.5 version is the best one for the moto x4 as it can use the wide camera lens through a magisk module to enable it. The only thing is that the rear camera doesn't work without hdr or hdr+. Another point worth mentioning is that this phone has a front facing flashlight and this was the only app besides moto camera that could use it. (Only without hdr)

The 2.0 version is the best one i've found so far for the galaxy s9+ snapdragon (mirrored settings from a s9+sd xml file for.the 1.5 version). It has access to all features even without root (samsung cameraapi2) and it's the only gcam that supports the variable camera aperture(hardware), the only reason i don't use it on the moto x4 is because it can't switch to wide.lens

Of all gcam ports i've ever used, arnova's are always the most stable and compatible ones

Hello, thanks to @Arnova8G2 for the awesome job made with this port.
I'm using the Gcam_6.2.024_Advanced_V2.0.190420.0415.apk on my Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 with MIUI Global dev (Pie). All works perfectly.
Differently from default settings I have:
-Front camera set to Nexus 5X
-Quality HDR+ set to Super High
-Photo resolution for front camera 16:9 3.8 MP; photo resolution for back camera 16:9 9 MP; Lens blur resolution 4:3 12 MP
-Motion function enabled
-Video resolution for back camera UHD 4k 30 fps
-4x4 Grid

Now, I would like to report\ask two things:

1) I tested that with 100% Compress JPEG option the front camera doesn't work: you tap on the button but nothing happen or the circle icon appear for few instants. To make it works I have to left it to auto.
2) Is it supposed that Gcam doesn't include Timelapse options? Because I read it is available with 6.2 on Pixels

While it does start and seems to support all modes, pictures taken are almost full white (super-overexposed) no matter if I try with or without HDR.
Anybody figured the correct settings out to have regular pictures taken?
Fiddled around with the (advanced) settings to trying to set ISO, exposure times and basically any toggle switch in different settings but did not succeed. All pictures taken remain overexposed, so it's not a HDR solo issue.

Front-Camera does not work in any mode (but shows correctly in "More..." before settings screen funnily). Build crashes on taking a picture in portrait mode. If that is helpful feedback for @Arnova8G2

timelapse just available in version 6.3

I have time lapse on 6.2. I'm on Snapdragon Note 9.

I don't have neither playground but this is maybe because ARCore is not supported officially by Mi Mix 2. Would be interesting know why not timelapse

First and foremost, Arnova, thank you for your great work.

I am currently testing both version 2 and 1.5 of the application and I'm running into some issues.

My device is a Canadian Galaxy s9 running Android 9 and is unrooted.

When I install and use both version of the application I get a very strong green tint that is almost black on all my pictures.

I am under the impression I might be doing something wrong or I might need to tweek the settings, but I can't figure it out.

I was looking for advice from anyone who knows this application more than I do.

im download n install Gcam_6.2.024_Advanced_V2.0.190420.0415.apk on my samsung Note 9 ( Exynos ) last stock android Pie , the device UnRooted but this app cant work properly,I've got over over exprosure, the potrait mode ( rear n front ) and night mode just stuck on logo n blank screen. plz repair this version , im fans of you from Indonesia. best regrads. i wanted gcam for night shoot cuz the gcam of you made are awesome. thank you

I have a general question for the gcam port. Lots of people are working on the Arnova Oneplus 7pro gcam. The Oneplus has the same SD55 and Sony IMX sensor as the Redmi K20 pro, Oppo reno 10x zoom, and Asus Zenfone 6. Assuming they all have the same level of camera access (including raw) then if it works well on the oneplus, can you just copy and paste the same setting for it to work on any other of the phones?

If I'm wrong, please could someone explain why?

Hmm... I can't get the front camera images to store with Gcam_6.2.030_Advanced_V2.1.190614.0200 on my Lenovo Z2 Plus (ZUK Z2).

Please fix bug ver 1.6, when use front camera, not zoom camera but after take photo, images become zoom too large.I use HTC U11

I have a ZenFone Max M2 ZB633KL, ASUS_X01A_1 and i try GCAM version com.google.android.GoogleCamera_2.1.190614.0200build-6.2.030-49456748_minAPI28(arm64-v8a)(nodpi)v from apk mirror site but phone crash in front camera.

Version Gcam_6.1.021_Advanced_V1.6.190614.0200.apk fail to install

Taking a picture without HDR+ doesn't work in Gcam_6.2.030_Advanced_V2.1.190614.0200. I think san1ty fixed this here:

why I cant get update for custom libs in arnova 6.2.030 latest version? I press button "Get Updates", applications hangs for a 10 seconds and nothing happens.

Can anyone suggest best settings for day ,dark and night mode for latest arnova 6.1 n 6.2 op5 rooted using XML 1.4
