No, I've got the phone 3 days and already rooted with twrp.
Which kernel you prefer?
I don't have your same device. You can ask or look around in your device-specific forum.

This is the I can't read post #1 quote. So here's part of post #1, since you can't read post #1
Usage instructions and app details:
- Enable limit in the app
- Change the limit up to which it should charge (default: 80)
- Check which control file suits best for your device, see Q/A section below for hints. In most cases, the pre-selected choice should be the best that's available for your device.
- The app only gets kicked in while you connect a charger (or USB), and automatically closes shortly after unplugging charger (or USB) i.e it only runs in the background as long as it is plugged in, and won't affect your battery life.
- If your device is not charging even after disabling the limit (which shouldn't happen, just in case), uninstall the app and reboot the device (The changes made by the app don't survive a reboot). Your device should charge normally then.
It's running fine on Pie on my sammy devices (jflte, klte aka S4, S5). But some kernels do not implement the necessary interfaces aka control files...
If you find a way to root your phone without triggering KNOX...is there any way to use this App without loosing warranty and kox functionality on a Galaxy S10?
Have you tried the Chargie stick? Just google it. It's an external charge limiter that talks to its app via Bluetooth and shuts off charging at the desired level.
Hi
I doubt it really stops charging. I set it to 90%. When the battery reaches 90%, charging icon on stock status bar battery icon disappears and LED turns off, but the phone doesn't discharge and stays on 90%. Also, battery usage page in settings shows the phone is charging.

Will this work in pocophone f1 running miui 10.2.2.0 android 9? Should i use the latest or the old first version apk?
Hi all,
I just picked up a Oneplus 6T and got this app up and running. My Pixel XL allowed my phone to retain its charge while neither charging/discharging (basically, maintaining the current battery level by drawing directly from the power source and bypassing the battery - or so it was explained to me). Some control files allow for this to happen. Has anyone been able to get this on the 6T?
Maybe through custom control files?
I should add, running latest nightly of unofficial lineage os
Hi, did you managed to enable this feature? (BTW, how is that feature called?)
