[ROM] [9.0.0_r46] AospExtended ROM V6.7 [OFFICIAL] [Enforcing]

Search This thread
I have dirty flashed 6.7 over 6.6. So far so good. It feels faster than before on the 2GB version. There are no lags. impressive! great work!
thanks!

Orange Fox R10.0 works fine too

Can confirm the same . Running magisk also.

Edit:
Found some issues when booting. Sometimes the internal audio doesn't function so I have to use headphones or reboot the phone. Probably this might be an hardware issue

This ROM is buggy, unstable and has glitches. One of the biggest bugs I've found that my phone freezes my computer when it's plugged in through a USB cable (Normally I use USB tethering as default configuration). I did a clean flash again, it worked well, but then this bug came back. The launcher lacks basic customizations and the "swipe down" for notifications gesture is horrible, it would pull down the QS panel at certain points and certain circumstances automatically if I scroll through pages or even don't do anything. The search bar in the app drawer doesn't straight up search for apps, it uses the Google app, and there is no option to alter it. I would like to see a change in the launcher.
There are a lot of minor bugs, like the accent color and UI changer, they take too many system UI reboots and sometimes work and sometimes don't, then I would have to reboot the whole system and try again.

I would nitpick and make a list and drop it later in this thread.

Charging speeds are extremely low on this ROM (build 6.7), below 500amps, I've tried different chargers and the chargers are fine, that's confirmed. Is there a fix that I can use?

This software bricked my phone's hardware! Now my phone vibrates for a sec when I plug in and out the charger. I flashed MIUI through fastboot method only if I could fix the problem, but it remained there too! Now I can finally die in peace.

check here: settings >> sound >> other sounds and vibrations >> charging vibration.

That was turned off on MIUI already. The ROM I’m using now doesn't have an option to turn off charging vibration. My phone doesn't vibrate in TWRP but it does on every single custom ROM.

My phone charges around 1900-2000amp. How would only 500amp blow up his phone?

Pedantic. milli Amps not Amps. BTW which ROM are you using currently. I am thinking of switching back to Nougat. AEX or Viper. LOS has been rock solid but just too less customization. AEX 6.7 hasn't been a good experience in terms memory management. Apps reload much more frequently than on LOS N. Maybe its just Pie being more resource intensive...

Havoc Oreo. It has tons of customizations and has Android Pie look to it. You would open upto 10 apps and each one will stay in memory.

Just clean installed. Amazing ROM.
I have a Bluetooth issue whereby my phone doesn't automatically connect to my head unit because it needs to confirm permissions. I have to allow access on my head unit and phone each time I get in the car. Is this just me?

    I guess there is nothing wrong in reading facts!

    -Base Of the ROM & Version?
    ->Rom is based on AOSP.

    -Why no "Incremental/Delta updates" Support?
    ->Actually the updates we provide monthly are heavily changed and modified than the previous builds. New stuff is merged and added. So we don't provide incremental updates and recommend a clean flash.

    -Does this ROM Support Substratum?
    ->Yes, full Substratum support!

    -Which Gapps are recommended?
    ->OpenGapps

    -How do I root this ROM?
    ->We recommend Magisk

    -Will this ROM relock the bootloader?
    ->No.

    -What about XPOSED?
    ->XPOSED is still in beta stage. We like Xposed but it messes up with the system so before giving any bug reports make sure you have Xposed uninstalled.

    -When Will Be the Next Update?
    ->No ETAs, please. ROM Will be updated whenever the new build is ready by your maintainer. We generally provide monthly updates with latest security patches and new features.

    -I am facing FCs, Bugs, Some feature is broken?
    ->Provide full info about your problem with logcat and the procedure to reproduce it.

    -Adaway is not working :(
    ->Download it from here Adaway

    -SElinux Linux mode changer app is not working nor Busy Box installer app is working.
    ->Everything is good with the sources. You should try other things first and then contact your maintainer.

    I know I haven't been much active, these past two months. But I am not in a mood to drop support for Pie. I've been trying to boot Q but the results are not as expected and I haven't got any luck yet. I can't give ETAs but just to let you all know that I am not going anywhere. Yeah, things are tight but I'm trying my best.

    ROM Updates and my releases:

    I wanted to lay down here that I am a busy guy. I study in college now so I am pretty busy with my studies. Also I have other hobbies other than android development. I'll always try to build ASAP as the sources are updated. Like always I'll always mention the bugs. The builds I'll be posting will be heavily tested so it can always play as a daily driver. People always tell me that I don't update my ROM often. I don't understand whats the reason for updating every night? How can I push OTAs if there is nothing new features, bug fixes and improvements. I always push updates whenever its necessary, I hope no one asks for ETAs always. Please be respectful to each other in the thread and there is no need to make a fuss about anything. Read this
    26
    I know, everyone is waiting for Android 10. Also I'm not dropping Support for Pie. But with college and lack of time I can't work on everything as of now. So maybe for 10 to boot I'll have to make some trade off in the development of Q with P. I hope you guys understand.
    Thank you.
    25
    I know it's been late. The thread has been dead lately. With my exams and Typhoid on, I was inactive. Thanks for the support guys and for all the well wishes. We worked hard for 6.6 and the source code is available. However, for Kenzo the release might get delayed by a day or two because I am fixing one issue for this release.
