Samsung increased Security in newer Firmware...

So workaround is to downgrade... to Firmware which support this Command:
Code:
launch_app csc-manager.csc-pre-configuration

Only the new devices like SM-R820 SM-R830 have no leaked Firmware... as Samsung introduced the stronger Security on these devices...

Best Regards

So i have to use net odin with (in my case) ESD6 OXA firmware? Where can i find it?

Obviously no update in Italy...

It's incredible that this update is out since the end of November last year...and almost in mid January it isn't installed on all the galaxy watch active out here.

I mean, come on...it's not a bugfix update, it's something that add a lot of stuff to the watch, it's incredible that a person will have to wait almost 3 months to receive the update...near the watch 3 launch maybe...

Just an idea for the ones who have not received the update. I'd be interested to see if rebooting and/or factory resetting the watch would help push the update out to some of you. I have no evidence that this will work nor can I explain why I think it could work. Just a feeling based off of past experiences with working on various tech items.

Just chiming in to say that the update is not out for the unlocked LTE Galaxy Watch in the USA. So apparently quite a few people don't have it yet.

Sorry to hear this. The general reactions about DSL1 are good (although my barometer sensor is still dead). If I were you I'd give reflashing the firmware with Netodin a try, to check if something went wrong with installing DSL1 (in which cases a reset won't help, as you already found out).

Well after flashing the firmware with netodin, I still have the same issues.

Glad you like it. I think it's a good update, too. I like the new timer with configurable presets. New stopwatch is ok, nice to have a change but essentially the same. Choice of rotary layout or list of apps - nice to have but list isn't really as convenient. I do miss the arrow icons in the rotary view, now you have to swipe instead for the next page. But that's splitting hairs really. Background apps icons on watch face is handy. Might obscure things you want to see on the watch face though but I think it's worth it. Bixby much better interface and now we have the proper voice. Unfortunately new Bixby doesn't understand my wife's name where as old one did, so I'll have to experiment with nicknames etc. Quick icons bigger - so, so. New torch feature via quick settings is welcome. Now I can delete the White Light app. New graphics in UI are ok. Not better or worse in my opinion, but nice to have a change.
Only problem I had was initially the time wasn't updating in AOD mode at which point I panicked and thought they'd messed it up. But then it started working and hasn't happened since.
Battery life seems about the same but early days.
Overall: good update. Like it.

I just notice the arrow is gone to change to next page in the app list. Thanks for the tip about swiping left and right.
The quick icons is bigger now most likely to avoid wrong pressing. Just notice there is a hidden torchlight. I don't use it anyway. The new graphic is refreshing. Timer is better now with multiple presets. Altimeter doesn't work again.

https://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=81428605&postcount=38

Because it is really weired... Much weirder as I saw before from Gear S3 LTE... :D

Oh, and SM-R805 is too short...
You mena SM-R805U for US market or SM-R805F...

Best Regards

Edit 1.

Also the big quick setting button for headphones is cool as it displays the battery percentage of my ear buds once connected. That's a nice touch and useful, too.

Latest is still BSE3...

But you can see on Test Server:
http://fota-cloud-dn.ospserver.net/firmware/ATT/SM-R805U/version.test.xml

Code:
R805USQU1[B]CSL2[/B]

I have no Crystal Ball...

No idea if CSL2 will be released... or replaced...
No idea how long... maybe weekS... maybe monthS

Since Gear S3 I know LTE takes much longer... looooooooong time after BT only device releases...

Sorry.

Best Regards

Edit 1.

New significant update rolling out now for the Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Watch Active 1. Just wanted to let you all know if you haven't received the update yet. Currently updating mine as I type this! See the attachment for information on the update.

Not looked into the Netodin route. But tempted except eas told by samsung store that if it goes wrong it will invalidate warranty. Is it easy? I know there is a ppt i could read (and will) just wanted opinion? Thanks guys and happy Christmas
It is not difficult. I've done it quite a few times without problems. The tricky part for me is to maintain connection while loading the AP BT and CSC files in NetOdin. I sometimes have to start all over again when the connection got lost (= the IP address is not showed anymore in NetOdin).
Once the files are loaded and the IP address is still shown, it's just a matter of pressing the start button and leave watch and laptop for about 20 mins.
One tip: disconnect any network cable from the laptop before you start. NetOdin can have difficulties connecting to your watch if you don't remove the cable.

About when to expect the DSL1 update in Europe: it took the CSG4 update 17 days to cross the ocean after release in the US. DSL1 was released December 10th in the US, so it looks like it will take a few more days if crossing the ocean takes as long as it did for CSG4.

    SM-R800 and SM-R810...

Now only 4 CSC (Sales Code) left for DSL1 FOTA:
    Code:
    AFR
    BTU
    INU
    XEF

    These 4 still on CSG4...

For SM-R500 more CSC still R500XXU1CSH3...

    Nothing new about LTE devices...

    Best Regards
