Is there any way to decrease swap ram size from 4GB to 1GB? Pubg lagging with 4GB swap .. it was running perfectly with 1GB swap.. 4GB is kinda too much and messed up ram management.. please tell me how to decrease it to 1GB swap

@PixelPro made a post few days ago where he summarize all the steps, give it a look a few pages before. You will find lots of answers.

Edit : sorry, the post is about upgrading, not first install.

You need a PC with drivers and adb in order to flash twrp than flash the correct recovery for our device, orangefox. Then, remove pin pattern etc on your phone, reboot into recovery, format data, wipe all, flash last firmware, flash rom, magisk if u want and enjoy.

If it's not clear, just tell...after reading somes previous posts to understand better by yourself of course ! ?

Ah, ok THX, i didnt know that, btw, there isnt a way (like Xposed ir mgisk module) to enable it?

Yes. There are some hacks available, but I don't recommend them because Android face unlock is inherently insecure. You'd be putting your security at risk, and it's not worth it.

That's one of the reasons Google created Project Soli, which powers facial recognition on the Pixel 4. It helps implement a more secure facial recognition platform, among other things.

Hi everyone, why i have issue with voice calls on whatsapp? When i tap answer or call my redmi note 7 goes to reboot, do you fix it?

Anyone got issues with audio through the headphone jack? Often It'll sound a bit degraded and thin until I reboot, then It's fine again for a while. Same happens on ion os.

Hi there

I have an issue with Bluetooth connection in my car (BMW) since updating to PE Android10 (I use the latest release 01-06-20)11 ... PE Android 9 worked well.

When having an call, the Microphone ist Not Wirkung, so I can listen to the caller but my mic is Just making cracking noise.

Google App has no permission for mic.

Is this issue known and maybe a workaround existing?

Same for me, cleaning data of Google app solves the issue for a day or 2 but then it's back. Very annoying. I'm already on oniichan kernel.

    It seems like a lot of people has problem withe the current State of PE.
    But as usual no one comes up with proper logcat or any kind of way to support it.
    All I see is same thing i mentioned even in #2 of this thread .
    Other than that, all sorts of disrespectful comments.

    Some guy post missing features as bugs .Then another guy say ROM is crap. To begin with you both type of guys should know that this is a custom ROM and it has both its upsides and downsides.
    Now to those who are comparing with previous maintainer of PE with me , to those , everything has hacks. Every lil bug there is can be fixed instantly with some kind of hacks. But that doesn't mean it has to be fixed right away without
    further researching on it. because that means ,it is only a way to fix it so that user's don't complain and what I'm looking for is a long term fix.Not some fix that will fix for now and will be dead in future. But seeing some people making fun out of a project which someone is really working hard on is really demotivating.

    I'm not gonna say i can fix all bugs. But I am definitely trying to keep it clean as much as possible as this is my only device and i use this rom for my daily needs . So , i'd care for it as much as anyone here would. But that doesn't mean anyone will say anything about it without even reading the roms features and bugs list which is utterly not acceptable.

    and those who are concerned why am i replaced with previous maintainer ? Why not even ask the PE developers about it rather than hearing from the previous maintainer? Hope this post makes things clear.

    Notes : For this build i'll suggest to make clean flash . A lot of things have been changed .
    But dirty flash is a optional which you can do always. In any case if its causing issues , Clear data of that specific app.
    Incase some livewallpaper is lagging , it is due to hardware limitations.
