It's something my brother was complaining about. The battery was charging too slow, sometimes discharging more while being used while charging.
Just wanted to check if anyone was facing a similar issue when using this rom.
Thinking maybe it's a cable issue then ?.
Which Charger and Cable do you use? I have a certified Qualcomm 3.0 charger, and i got decent speeds with it. Stock charger is worthless btw.

Back button

Hello, using this ROM for a few days now, everything is great so far, only one question:
Is there a way to switch the back and recent buttons? In AEX 6.6 you could switch them and it makes more sense for the back button to be on your right as a right handed user. Thats the only thing thats driving me mad. Can you help?

That feature hasn't been added to Q yet. Wait for it, it eventually will come in.

me too, how to fix it? should i format my data?

I download the ROM without Gapps many times, and flashed more than 5 times, every time it stopps at MI boot. And I download this ROM with Gapps and flashed,it works. For other ROMs of android Q, also it works.

But the developper-AndroBuddy thinks it is Ok, so I want to try it again,actually I love Aosp-extend before for other phone.

Today I flashed again, same as before, then I flashed boot.img from other ROM, now my phone can boot normally, and it recover again.

Maybe you can try it.

BRUH STOP IT, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
I have repeatedly told to read what to do to boot NON GAPPS build. IF YOU ARE SO STUBBORN NOT TO READ THE NOTES IN CHANGELOG, NO BODY CAN HELP YOU.

Hi AndroBuddy007,

in this last update we lost the scroll of the network names when using 2 SIM cards.

The previous version was scrolling name1 and after name2 of the SIM operator, in this version we only have 1 name fixed, that can be the last one used to handshake the network antenna.

Also the ROM version is focus in one sim operation mode (one ring tone, one carrier name only, etc).. maybe you could help us and uprise a friendly request to add the support for multi sim operation to the DEV team

Thanks for the release and if "we" can help please let "us" know.

Yes, you can definitely help, by linking out the commits (GitHub reference of changes made) from roms you have seen the feature work.
Send them to me or the team and it might get added.

And just when I thought this is the second out of 7 official ROMs for Redmi 5 plus, that I've tried in last 24h, and didn't got stuck in bootlop, or similar crap, this one, out of the box, is hitting me with ''Issue with SD card'' and ''Google App stopped working'' every few seconds. I barely managed to catch app info to see which exact app it is, and it's com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox. I also managed to catch URL: https://del.dog/ugesehalub.txt

---------- Post added at 06:40 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:35 PM ----------

Btw, latest Aosp 7 with Gapps for Redmi 5 Note/5 Plus

---------- Post added at 06:55 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:40 PM ----------

Ok, resolved this with app stopped working, by updating Google app...now just to figure how to make phone to accept my SD card, without need to delete or transfer all files from it

---------- Post added at 07:37 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:55 PM ----------

Ok, that didn't work, trying one without Gapps

This one works, with nano gapps, without errors, but still SD card is somehow issue, even though Orangefox see card properly. How do I remove date from home screen, and search bar?

I know about the sdcard issue and I am trying to figure out what's wrong. Problem is I don't a sd card to test myself, but one of the testers has it, who is a busy bit lately.
To remove date you can probably use Lock Clean Substratum. Use a different launcher to remove search bar.

Yeah, I'm using Poco Launcher. It's kinda weird, because it is loading twice, when I reboot, so boot up time is longer for about 15 secs. I've even managed to find working gcam, that takes pics with selfie cam (don't like default one, really) and doesn't crash, stutter, or messes up colors. Took me like 30 different versions and searching like crazy, but made it there. Also, replaced old 64GB with fast 128GB card, and it works. Took me a while to figure all out, but now, when everything is set up the way I can use it, bazoooing, it's snappy, completely different phone, coming from MIUI11 and andro 8.1 :D

In my opinion changing your old sd card with new one probably is that old one used exFAT while new one uses a different formatting. The tester reported that his exFAT card wasn't working.
Anyways good to know your new card works.
Also you could try Lawnchair V2 pre-alpha for Android 10 with Quickswitch for an amazing experience

Installed Lawnchair and Quickswitch, took me some 30 mins to figure all out because I am noob, but results are perfect.

You were correct, old one is exFAT...and the question for million dollars is: why using FAT32, I thought that died out? 4GB limits, etc?

Thank you for this nice ROM. I would just like to reporta that usb file transfer does not work. Please, fix it.
PS: It might a driver issue with my laptop. Please, disregard it as a bug report. I fixed tha same problem on another Android 10 ROM by uninstalling the Clockworkmod drivers.

If you were talking about Selection of Device Transfer options greyed out when using it from Notification panel, you can fix it by selecting the options from Developer Options in Settings.

    I guess there is nothing wrong in reading facts!

    -Why no "Incremental/Delta updates" Support?
    ->The updates we provide monthly are heavily changed and modified than the previous builds. New stuff is merged and added. So we don't provide incremental updates and recommend a clean flash.

    -How do I root this ROM?
    ->We recommend Magisk

    -Does this ROM Support Substratum?
    ->Google killed Substratum support in Pie. You can use it, however, you need to be rooted. We don't support rootless Substratum.

    -Which Gapps are recommended?
    ->OpenGapps and BitGappps

    -Will this ROM relock the bootloader?
    ->No.

    -What about XPOSED?
    ->XPOSED is still in the beta stage. We like Xposed but it messes up with the system so before giving any bug reports make sure you have Xposed uninstalled.

    -When Will Be the Next Update?
    ->No ETAs, please. ROM Will be updated whenever the new build is ready by your maintainer. We generally provide monthly updates with the latest security patches and new features.

    -Adaway is not working :(
    ->Download it from here Adaway

    -SElinux Linux mode changer app is not working nor Busy Box installer app is working.
    ->Everything is good with the sources. You should try other things first and then contact your maintainer.
