Will you be adding the ability to enable Dim Always On Display regardless of screen brightness?
Should be easy, will have a lookWill you be adding the ability to enable Dim Always On Display regardless of screen brightness?
More options in the works, one degreenify option to let a bit more green in lower brightness levels, but still hold it back overall.
And adding always dim advanced option to AOD dimmer settings.View attachment 5027107View attachment 5027109

When HBM is enabled, the darkest Backlight Dimmer is also enabled.

Thank you all, I'm humbled. Trying my best to resolve some real problems. It's better if there's no problem, but it's fun to work on them if they exist.Congrats my friend! A well deserved write up and accolades to boot! [emoji108][emoji106]

Degreenifier stability update
- Fix: some very rare occasions, display got in an uninitialized state for a couple of seconds
--- fix possible concurrency issue and remove unneeded forced display mode set calls - issue happened to me once only, can't reproduce with the patch

How do you plan to flash it?Sorry but I'm so confused on which to download for pixel 4 xl can someone kindly point out which file? Thanks and sorry again.
How do you plan to flash it?
1. Zip for kernel managers method:
For Android ten, and zip installer use the zip for Android q , 1.4...
For Android eleven use the R zip, 2.4....
2. For installing with fastboot:
If you want to flash the boot image with fastboot instead then look for the Coral image, either for Android ten/q or eleven/r based on which Android version you're on.

Did this help you? Is it clear enough?Sorry but I'm so confused on which to download for pixel 4 xl can someone kindly point out which file? Thanks and sorry again.
I'm using the Android R version.I tried this, but at the moment I can't see difference when HBM disabled / enabled, on the backlight dimmer.
Are you using Android R version? Currently I'm testing on the Android Q version.
No, unfortunately there's a trade-off on these panels, no middle way in this. The LG panel seems to be a better hardware on the pixel 4.Thank you very much for the de-greenifying efforts! The screen looks much better on low brightness now. Just one question: I noticed some black crush when the de-greenify option is turned on. Is there a way to mitigate this?
