Due to the responses I've received in the Raphael telegram group, I'm completely dropping raphael development.
You can't let this go . This is your rom . You can't consider what people say like " you are saying that for third time ". staying and not staying decision is yours not on by the brainless people who doesn't know the value of this is rom . There will be negatively when u reach higher, this is place you are standing. the decision u make is important. This work is done by your passion and working on passion is the greatest blessing of a person's life, you got that and don't let that go . You should not say I'm sensitive to negative responses you should change yourself to keep on your passion and learn to ingnore that. No person will ever let there passion go because of negative response . This is the stage you should make your decision wisely . Consider my words , take your time and see you with Android R.

I'm joining the sadness train about the ROM development, hoping the best for joey for the work he has done on our device. Hopefully, someone will resurrect the project someday.

Maybe closing this thread and the Telegram group brings you @joeyhuab some peace and quiet.

I really hope that you can find some of your motivation back to maintain this ROM and just add your updates to the evolution-x website instead. The people who appreciate you and your hard work will follow you there.

First off, thank you @joeyhuab for your hard, free work, for your continued contribution where you choose to develop, and for all you do for Xda.

Second, every single one of the disrespectful, ungrateful and immature comments posted here reflect much more about their author than they do on any developer. Only sorry, sad, and entitled people feel like they deserve something for free, something that someone else has worked hard on, and something that they offered little to no help creating.

Every developer has the right to choose what, when, how, and why the develop anything on Xda. If they grow tired of dealing with ungrateful members, who can blame them? If they decide their energy is best spent on other development, who is any one of us to say otherwise?

Please remember that developers work for free, build things they like and sometimes ask us if we want anything added, and without developers, we'd all have boring, mundane, non-customized devices like everyone else who has a locked bootloader device.

Unless you're willing to learn to develop, unless your willing to contribute an income to the developer, unless you're willing to put hours of code work into building something; learn to say THANK YOU to those who do all that, for free, and have to deal with ungrateful, entitled comments like some that were deleted from this thread.

As far as the insults, the disrespect and rude comments toward the OP, they all violate Forum Rules and need to stop immediately. If the comments continue, the associated accounts will be reviewed for further action for disregarding the rules and moderator warning.

If you don't like a dev, don't like their work, don't appreciate their contribution, you have several choices:
1) learn to develop what you like,
2) keep your rude opinions to yourself and move on,
3) respectfully make a request or offer your respectful opinion to the dev and wait for the response,
but do not post your lack of respect towards devs, their work, or your disrespectful opinions in the threads.

I'm not sure where the culture comes from that thinks a dev who works for free owes a member anything, but it isn't going to fly here.

If your comment isn't helpful, respectful, and on-topic, do not post it. We should ALL be encouraging those who want to make our devices better, NOT doing our best to frustrate them.

Thank you to all the devs who make our devices awesome, to all the members who follow the rules and appreciate our devs, and to those willing to cooperate and change the way they post.

tl;dr
stop the disrespect towards devs and their work
learn to build your own Rom, or find one you like
keep your rude, disrespectful opinions off Xda
show the devs a little respect and gratitude for all they do for Xda
if your comment isn;t helpful or respectful don't post it
continue to violate the rules and your account will be reviewed for restriction or removal

Joey thank you so much for your work, we know you're probably tired of people saying this to you but don't pay attention to the ungrateful people who use your work, I'm so happy to be staying on Evolution X as it's the only AOSP rom I've tried on my device and I hope it will be for a long time, you're truly the king of developing amazing stuff for such a good device. #KeepEvolving

I don't use your rom, but I always appreciate your updates, doing the less I can which is press your thanks button. Anyway, keep developing for us & try to enjoy what you do. A piece of advice if I may, stay way from toxic telegram chats, they are full of spoiled children, retards, immatures & so on. Xda users can/will provide you reports, logs & anything you need to fix & improve rom issues. Thank you sir.

Hey man, really glad you're not dropping the device after all.

Gotta say once again, a lot of us here appreciate your work, hit thumbs up and don't say too much -- not because we don't care but because we don't have any complaints or demands and we consciously refrain from flooding the thread into oblivion with posts about how much this rom rocks (which it certainly does!)

Any time you feel the majority are ungrateful, just check the download stats and remember we're here, we appreciate what you're doing and there's way more of us than those who whine and talk crap.

You sir are awesome.

@joeyhuab don't let the haters get to you, if they don't like it fine don't even bother pleasing them. There are ton of people here in the community that love your work and will always support you. Out of all the custom roms that I have used over the years, your's has been mine favorite.
