What a update! Thank You very much @Ivan_Meler. ROM is great. Didnt faced any issues. Only smoothness of the ROM seems to be worse in the new build. Last time I tried build 8 and it was butter smooth.

Yeah, you should flash Oreo via Odin. This will update your Bootloader.
You can also use this to re-partition your device, maybe a partition is damaged.
Download a 4 (or 5) Part Software from Sammobile or with Samfirm (only 1 part will not work).
Extract the PIT-File from CSC and put in to the PIT section of Odin. Also tick re-partition in the options.
Then fill the rest with the files you downloaded (BL, AP, CP and CSC, not CSC_Home).
Flash the hole thing and it's done. After a reboot, return to Download-Mode and flashTWRP again (via AP).
Reboot to TWRP and flash LineageOS (and all the stuff you need) from there.
And do a hecking backup before. :)

If Odin is stuck while flashing, try a different Version. In my case 3.14 was working well.

Oh i see, i'll try that then, Thanks!

Same here going from build 10 to build 11 and 12 so not related to switch 16 to 17.
The behaviour of the signal strength indicator is very different now. I live in a fairly rural area, where I have a strong H+ signal, but rarely pick up 4G/LTE. Where 16.1 was showing a full strength or nearly full strength signal, this looks like it's barely got signal most of the time, sometimes it goes up to maybe one bar. I can see from doing a speed test that there's no problem with the connection, it's just as fast as it was.

WOW.. does this mean Play Store status is Certified on this rom?

I didn't test it, but I doubt it. This is not an official certified ROM, like those manufacturer put on the phones.
This isn't even LineageOS "official" (see here: https://download.lineageos.org/).
There are rumors that you can try to certify yourself, but this didn't work for me on LOS 14.1.

Besides does this make any difference in real wold? Not really.

Sounds like it's probably not how it's supposed to behave then. I'm wondering if re-flashing the baseband would fix it. I've found some discussion of similar problems with a bit of googling, though not for the same device or android version. In those discussions, it was suggested that it's a baseband/radio firmware issue.
Seems to be no other problems with radio. I haven't used bluetooth, but GPS is working fine, hotspot works perfectly so far, it's much better than it was in 16.1, and no actual problem with signal strength, just with the indicator. I'll be going somewhere with a good 4G signal later, so I'll see what it looks like there.

Did you read what the changelog says about signal reporting?

I can see it says that there's more precise signal reporting, I'm just wondering if it is actually working as it should though? Because my signal indicator really isn't giving me useful information. There is no visible difference between a signal that can barely send a text message, and one that gives me a 23Mbps data connection with 51ms latency (my current speed). That's fast enough to comfortably stream 1080p video without buffering. I also often get latency as low as 41ms and speeds over 25Mbps with a H+ signal here.
The only way I can see that it would make sense would be if it only indicates a strong signal when 4G is available, and H+ is just always considered to be weak?

edit: just to add, I understand that there's a difference between signal strength and the data bandwidth that the network is currently making available to me. I'm talking about how this ROM compares to the previous ROM on this phone, and other phones on the same network. When I move around the area here, from indoors to outdoors, from being surrounded by trees to an open field nearby, there's either no change at all or very little change in the indicator, but I can tell from the actual performance that the signal strength is varying massively, and other phones/the previous ROM on this phone would show that variation with quite a lot of detail.

[Build 12]:
- Funny video phenomena when using Facebook Messenger video call:
I see my partner "Avatar"-like: Blue skin...
Seems like blue and red color are switched, green seems to be OK. More interesting: A taken screenshot of the video Avatar scene shows proper colors.
Using regular camera app for taking videos works properly.

Workaround: Go to Settings > Developer Options > Disable HW overlays (toggle ON). My games with 3D rendering also encountered this problem, it looked like an overlay since it disappeared when taking a screenshot.

OK, I may have answered by own question to some extent. Just been into town where there is 4G, and the signal does show up as strong.
It still shows no change at all in signal strength when it has a H+ signal. Like I said, it's not necessarily a problem if that's actually how it's supposed to behave. I'm on a main road at the moment, passing by plenty towns, and the signal indicator just doesn't change at all as long as there's only H+.
I am wondering if it's just always showing the strength of the available 4G signal, even when it's connected to H+?

Great, it did the job! :)
Any disadvantages?

05.08.2020 build review

My 05.08.2020 build review - Updated my Canadian W8 S7 from experimental to the new build, all dirty flash. Then I installed clean while troubleshooting (and I don't think that was necessary).

Notes:
- I installed Gmail, the Google Dialer, and the Google Messenging client. I'm using the nova launcher. I don't miss AOD. Using DDG as main browser.

The good
- Hats off to the developer Ivan Meler - amazing job. Very smooth, fluid. It is a brand new phone. I am loving it.
- Fingerprint works as advertized and more reliably than stock.
- Fantastic that the SD card is now used as contiguous RAM. When I boot, I get a message that the SD card is missing but I learned to ignore the message.
- Android Auto is much more reliable.
- No problem casting (tried youtube).
- Battery life is improved.
- Previous call volume issues are resolved.
- Wifi and Bluetooth are working very well.
- Installation went smoothly. Did not have any passcode issues since I had resolved those when I installed the experimental build. I did not see any update about the Gapps problem previously posted, so I continued to use a slightly older version of those (June 30).

Issues
- The notification lights are not working, except for charging.
- Although the camera is launching now, it does not want to capture pictures (and cannot access SD). I installed GCAM for S7 and that is working well so no worries there.
- I realized that security was not passing. I understand that is expected with Lineage, and has nothing to do with this build. I installed Mag* and after Googling I found the props fix that completely resolves this. So now Google Pay is working for me.
- My Gear S2 watch cannot work with the phone, I can't get passed the "modified" message when the app starts. I followed the instructions on post t3743138 but Samsung Gear still refuses to open.

Minor things - these are very minor
- Great that the experimental build issues with some photos on web pages getting glitchy are now resolved. However, there is still a tiny bit of glitch still. It is barely noticeable now as it fixes itself almost immediately when it happens. I think photos selector views that let you switch left/right (e.g. Amazon or some news sites) are most affected. Very, very minor.
- Very occasionnally the phone takes a few seconds to wake up, making me think the phone is powered off. But then it wakes up and everything is normal. I must have noticed this only about once a day so far. No big deal.

Overall I am really pleased and will be sending coffee!

To solve the issue with the modified message you need to change the fingerprint of your device. Do all these steps given in this post except for replacing the strings. Replace only ro.product.manufacturer with the "google". Then go back and pick 1, then type f choose 7 for google and pick 22 for Pixel 4. Restart and you can open the Wearable app to pair your Gear S2 https://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=78024599&postcount=7

Good luck ;)

Hello, sorry if I ask but I don't find the answer in previous posts.
I am currently on old Superman-Rom V1.19.1, Android 6.0.1, Baseband G930FXXU1BPJG.
Do I need to update the latest Bootloader and Modem Firmware through Odin before flash the Rom? Or can I just flash the ROM through TWRP?
Thank you for the help (I posted also in LOS16.0 forum).
