Market downloads dont seem to work, have to unmount to install pocket legends.

Does this not upgrade to hastarin's 8.6?

Some bugs I found:

1.-Bluetooth pairs up with my headphones. When trying to make a call. The phone dials and ends the call right away. Not sure why.

2.-This just happened to me now. Was in a call. Once the call ended I was not able to turn on the screen anymore. The hardware buttons lighted up. Had to reset the HD2 to get the screen back.

Besides that, I have great battery with this build. Was at 54% with 1 day and 12 hours of use. That's the best battery I have had with any build.

delete data.img .. let the build create a new one..

edit..
I found some has bootloop..

try this :
after you got a bootloop, take off battery.. boot to another android build, delete my data.img then paste it again from the zip file .. shutdown.. then boot my build up again..

its weird I know..but I test on two hd2 .. and they boot up normally.. no boot loop again..even after reboot ..

I hope some other dev can light me up with this problem..

yes it has bootloop problem on some user.. at first I have this too..

but I fix it only by deleting data.img, boot to my old MIUI, paste again data.img to new build.. reboot then it boot just fine .. I do this a couple of time..

honestly I still confuse what's causing this..

I'll give a warning at first page..

okay, I downloaded the build, formatted my SdCard, copy and paste the build via using the USB cable and using my window mobile as hard-drive. Went to click on the two files as I do for the other android builds....

now my phone is stuck on the htc...for about 20 min....came back, restarted the phone, and this time went to the folder, and deleted the data file as well, and again hit on the two files and holding at the green htc logo...am I doing something wrong?

at first tried you should boot up fast because you have data.img inside the build..

at second tried, it should take you 20 minutes to boot up coz it create a new 1 gb data image..

I just finally success booting JawsMIUI1812 after nearly hopeless
everything chances i'v tried not working, always bootloop

heres what I did:
- I take my secondary sdcard (8gb class6 - transcend), format it with default allocation table with win7, quickformat...
- copy the "JawsMIUI1812" folder dan start booting....
- viola, success

I check the sdcard with reader then, and find theres a 4 new folder created;
+ .android_secure
+ Android
+ DCIM
--old JawsMIUI1812
+ LOST.DIR

so I copy all the 4 folders, except the DCIM folder (coz i have alot of camera shot on my old sdcard) to my old sdcard (16gb from droidX sdcard)

folder with the same name on my old sdcard has been deleted before i copy from my secondary sdcard..

boot from my old sdcard and finally JawsMIUI1812 running smooth now...

been rebooting 3 times, bcoz i patch the kernel, fonts and buil.prop.

hopely my experience can lighten you up.. :p

what is ad hoc? ad hoc is peer to peer connection between two wifi without the need of access point router, so u can use wireless tether on another android, and you can play remote control tools like ar.drone

    READ THIS
i have set my own provider dns in build.prop file.. you must change it according to your own provider DNS, above patch make dns back to google DNS, i suggest you to edit it and find the right DNS according to your provider.. otherwise data / internet will not work

How to apply the patch : just extract root.rar file, put it inside Jaws-MIUI folder then boot to Jaws-MIUI..

or read this post by kawazaki
    2. To fix white box in battery indicator, after first boot, go to setting - sytem- battery : change Battery indicator style to

First off thank you for your work, so far this is the best MIUI rom i have tried, however
    1. I can only connect to market with wifi.
    2. I can't seem to find a way to add ringtone to contacts.
    3. Just like in post #37 no youtube.
Hoping you can help with some of these issues, again thank your for your hard work.

WOW Really Fast and Really well put together.

I have a few problems though and I would need somebodies help.

-I'm trying to edit the qwerty.kl but when I press save it says failed. I'm using ES File Explorer to edit this file. (Please let me know if there is a different way of doing this)

-Internet is not working. Only on WiFi. I got it to work for a few seconds but it dropped right away. The 3G icon is there but the Internet is not working. ( I am using T-Mobile by the way)

If your are T-Mobile US, i use these setting and i got internet but i cannot get the market to work without useing wifi, hope this help.
