i have an issue that my phone gets stuck on black screen
why?? is there a prefferable baseband or what?

Also not working for me. I can hear the phone ringing when receiving a call but can't hear the person speaking and talk to the other side

Random deep sleeps fixed in the new update?
Same problem with me too, after de deep sleep only removing battery was the solution.
Have you installed the new update? Wait for feedback.

and I faced a problem with deepsleep... my device don't wake up from deepsleep... can anyone please tell if this issue happens with the new nightly?. It will be aprreciated

Same problem here, I have flash the update-cm-7-20120419-NIGHTLY-cooper-signed.zip and update-cm-7-20120420-NIGHTLY-cooper-signed.zip.
Same problem with both after a clean install...
yeah it is for RC's only.. but if bug is there in nightly then most chances are that it exists in RC also

I just have a couple questions before submitting them into the bug tracker as they may not actually be bugs (or missing features):
1. When I receive a SMS, I heard the notification sound but the screens keeps turned off. Is there anyway to make it turn on? Actually, is this supposed to happen?
2. Is there any place to set up my profile like in the stock rom? I can't find it anywhere (and it was something useful to me...)

I don't think it is a deep sleep issue only, because it will deep sleep and still wake up as expected most of the time, but sometimes it fails. I've tried to collect logcats but you can't after a reboot. Coolya knows about it; it is something new to the latest nightlies, it didn't affect the RC.
For me you don't need to remove batteries, hold down power button for >10secs or so and phone reboots.
Why not checking the bug tracker? Why not reading the previous posts? Why not even reading the post title? Does it gives that much work? It does? Well... better not flash your phone 'cause it will give you work too
Ive had a look on logcat just to check there isnt an existing issue which there isnt. But being a noob Ive no idea how to create the relevant logfiles to upload.
If someone does a logfile, then please post the link and I will add my details to it.

Basically on hands free calls I can hear myself, but not the caller, and they cannot hear me. Same result using both on phone answer button, and the button on the cord.

how to install CyanogenMod Official
- Stock ROM Gingerbread 2.3.x
- Install CWM Recovery 5 (preferably)
- Wipe data/factory reset
- Wipe cache partition
- Wipe dalvik cache
- Install zip from sdcard > choose zip from sdcard > update-cm-7-NIGHTLY-cooper-signed.zip > yes install
- Reboot system!!
first boot may take 2 to 5 minutes maximum!

- install zip from sdcard > choose zip from sdcard > gapps-gb-20120116-237-signed.zip > yes install
- reboot!

5GPS works fine in the UK without the lagloose fix for me, but I do use my own custom gps.conf. I've decided not to use the lagloose fix any more as I don't quite know what the other possible effects are of overwriting hardware libraries with stock ones (I had GPS completely fail after I applied the itasoulas/lagloose fix and only an update to an official CM7.2 nightly without the fix restored it a couple of weeks ago)...
By the way, there is another nightly out *after* the RC3 from yesterday with one additional fix:

Afaik no official member of cm or teamhacksung team actually had an ace except for coolya. Thats what occasionally pissing me off when everyone keep judging him and say hes lazy or anything. For gods sake hes working alone! And look where we are now, nightly build with stable in the horizon. </rant over>
Sent from your phone5After too much many SoDs in the last 24 hours (before having none on other roms), I've compiled a kernel (from Kolja's sources in https://github.com/teamhacksung/android_kernel_samsung_msm) and made a flashable zip with updated proprietary files for testing.
Please test and report results. I've only tested it on Kolja's last nightly (20120514), but should work on other CM7 roms (only on cooper).
