Root help needed - Chinese Android g22 mtk6515 phone

So I made the mistake of purchasing a Chinese knock-off phone with android 2.3.6 installed. In my defense it wasn't expensive and does come with 2 batteries!
It's basically a nice touchscreen phone for my wife however the Chinese apps are REALLY annoying on this thing. We'd like to remove them but in order to do so we need to have root.
I've tried a couple of apps that claim to work on these types of phones but no like. I also tried super oneclick but no luck either.

The phone model is the MTK6515 G22 phone. this is a link to one:

I have no idea what to do at this point. Has there been any development or am I stuck with the Chinese bloat??

the last on is probably what you are looking for because 6515 is same with 6575 except the 3g capability.

I think has the same chipset with you. I have not tried anything yet because I have not received I am just preparing to welcome it!!!!

I purchased the i9270 as well and after 10 days its a paperweight
If you would be so kind @distrata please upload a copy of system.img,boot.img, and recovery.img
my backups were corrupted
it much appreciated
Hooking this phone to a pc drivers are hard to find you can force a usb driver using superoneclick software but that software is useless beyond that
when my phone was working current android market wouldn't recognize the phone had to use amazon app market
the app that suspect crashed the OS was the go launcher
the only way I'm going to be able to flash that I have found so far is command prompt using fastboot
Besides all my problems it was a nice phone

backup needed for i9270+ China Android

I too need backup files for the i9270+ mtk6515. Phone restarts continuously. Could not find the rom anywhere on the web to flash it. Can anyone help?

Thats what mine started to do 10 days after i got it its a bug in 4.0.3 the next version 4.0.4 corrected it
if the Rom gods out their can help us the sys image can't be over 150mb the current 404 will not fit the i9270

For everyone thats having problems with i9270 I've been in contact with my seller now they have become unresponsive and I opened a paypal dispute we all might not have the same seller but its still the i9270 pos problem they used an old OS 4.0.3 is flawed 4.0.4 was its replacement so if you used paypal initiate a dispute apparently the boot loop issue happens fairly quickly.

1 month earlier I got a chines android phone name opsson model imo1000, which is mt6515 and 1gb cpu, 2 gb ram. 4 gb rom and android version is 2.3.6 I want to root this phone, I am a newbie and never rooted before. Plz plz some one help me and tell how i can do this. more ever i didt find the usb driver for the phone. for god seek some body plz help me.

since we all seem to have the same chip mt6515 would you be so kind as to upload an image file of your boot,recovery, and system files
you can use superoneclick software to get a usb driver search this site for download
an app from amazon "WiFi File Explorer PRO" on amazon app store
for root software thre are a bunch of apps on amazon android apps "z4root"
But without files the rest of us have a shiny paperweight

all the i9270 are fracked

forget the stock files 4.0.3 is inherintly flawed the original 4.0.3 sdk is huge it won't fit onto i9270 chinese have a their own version
1.0 first get usb drivers from superone click its the only thing that the program will upload for the i9270
2.0 get unlockroot.com v2.3 its free root the phone
3.0 get clockworkmod zad dkn version open the file on desktop connect the phone while in fastboot (power +vol down) it will recognize it mow pull the battery and put it back in and hit enter till program flashes cwm to the phone if you do it right younow can get into recovery my i9270 didn't have recovery and i sent it back
4.0 now that you can get into recovery get an adapter so you can load files to the micro flash card and get cyanogen 2.3.7 works much better than 4.0.3 and its made for the smaller int mem of i9270
5.0 or just send the phone back

if your i9270 is stuck in a boot loop press and hold power + vol down you get into fast-boot the computer will see it in device manager if you did the superone click right its generic android adb driver phone needs to be off to flash recovery after it finishes you need to press power + vol up to get into recovery and a usb adapter to add files onto a microsd before you flash the new rom wipe the data cash partition and davlik? then flash the rom due not add the update files till the new rom has run once get back out and run the appstore update via zip it all depends on what cyanogen rom you pick do your reading and happy modding Oh and this will completely void your warranty if you even had one

I got the phone 5 days ago. waited for it 2 months to arrive from China
If i sent it back it will tok me 6 months to get it back loool

where did you purchase your phone and did you use paypal ?

Same company I made the mistake of buying from would not give an rma to return the phone as soon as i initiated a PayPal dispute they wanted me to cancel the claim but still refused an rma finally PayPal intervened and game me an address to ship to i probably get a refund some time after 11/4/2012 hopefully this company is terrible they even deleted my rma application and correspondence I am glad i did a pdf print on every conversation with them for cya proof I will avoid them like the plague in future I had to buy another phone in the interim modded an att u8652 they do not honor their 30 return or 3 month replacement if you can initiate a PayPal claim if the recovery does not work you can always use the fastboot via a chd window to erase the phone its old school but it we remove all mods

when its in fastboot can you see the phone from window sys device manager it should ay at the top android phone =android composite adb interphase while you have it connected in fastboot open the instalador file it will open a cmd window in green press the enter screen it recognizwe the phone with the phone connected remove the battery to power off you might have to unplug for a second then replug put battery back in and hit the enter key again till cwm recover will run

Its unfortunate but I don't think anyone who made the mistake of buying the i9270 can make a backup of the system files because when the phone was working Google play market would not work on the phone so you could not download cwm recovery rom manager to make a backup of the system boot and recovery files now if someone were to add the add the zad recovery before the phone crashes and make a backup well technically that would work but most people and myself included have never owned an android phone that's why we all went for the cheap Chinese knock off to save money

after you do the recovery and it reboots itself
pull the battery and if the recovery did work use power and vol up to get into cwm recovery

when you pull the battery did you disconnect the usb because its still pulling power from the computer

when i had mine to get into fast boot it was press and hold power plus vol down =fastboot
then power+vol up= some chinese factory directory
also try all three keys together its galaxy suppose to be their recovery
