I would like to share with you a couple of gps improvements!
Some of you know them from my Desire HD Thread or from the One X Thread.

GPS Tweaks
Changelog
  • change NTP_SERVER for specific region
  • much more detail tweaks
  • Aroma installer


Installation
  • download
  • push the zip on your sdcard
  • check md 5
  • flash through recovery

Notice
  • with the faster_gps_fix you may not see a faster result at first try. thats because your device have to redownload the a-gps data. so make sure you have a data connection.
    you also can redownload the a-gps data manuall with a market app called GPS-Status for example.

Do you have to wipe your efs cache? I know I had to on my g2

My GPS I's not accurate anymore. It's about 250 yards off. It only gets precise with wifi. Is there a way to flash back to what I had? I'm in the U.S.

You redownload the agps data Luke i wrote in the notice section in the first post? If you want to go back get the gps.conf from your Rom and copy it into system/etc. or if you haven't other mod reflash your Rom without wipe.

Question: Doss it truly matter the region we choose to flash? Because I am running a ROM that I *thibk* is based off the EU version, but I'm in the US.. So do I flash USA or the Euro version?
