I'm currently running Jamie's 2.52 Paranoid Rom. Make sure to do a NAND backup!

I tried the APK but I couldn't get the Sphere to work, so I tried the zip and followed the instructions and I was able to get it to work :D

To get Sphere working on non-Nexus devices you might need to edit your build.prop file. MAKE A NANDROID FIRST!!
Thanks to aniket.sananse over at XDA:

Use a root file browser/editor go to /system and open for editing build.prop
edit the prop files...

Ro.product.model change to Galaxy Nexus

Ro.product. brand. Change to Google

reboot..!
you can operate sphere panorama... in camera..!

Working perfect on Liquid RC5. Pretty cool. Just wish it had the power button for shutter as an option. Photosphere is pretty cool.

That's the one i've used for a couple of hours. Does video recording work for you? Everything works fine except for the video recording here. It starts recording and when i stop recording, it'll freeze and crash.

No FC, but I get a "cannot play this video" error, and no video in my gallery.

what does & does not work ?? :confused:

the androidpolice article said it's only partially working:

but the download below contains a camera/gallery build that we patched to allow users of non-Nexus devices to at least capture Photo Spheres. As I mentioned before, viewing them still seems to be an issue at the moment.

also read that users of Padawan rom (ICS) got it working... I'm on JB 4.1.1 ... good chances ?? :cool:
