I'm in CM11 4.4.4 Kitkat. Any idea how to do it?
And will it backup the driver too?
If I remember rightly, the drivers should make their own backup script, if you look in system/addon.d and see a script with V4a in the title, that should be it. If you pushed the Viper app to system/app, (assuming the app when viewed in this directory is called ViPER4Android) you can add the line app/ViPER4Android.apk to a backup script. If it's named differently, you just make sure to put the name in this line exactly as it appears in a root explorer. If you pushed to priv-app, it would be priv-app/ViPER4Android.apk
You can copy an existing script from addon.d to a folder like download, rename it and edit it, deleting the lines of apps to backup and adding your own lines in the same place. I don't backup V4A as I have a zip with the libs and drivers included (which don't stay backed up, so it's easier to just flash with each update) but have made an example to show you. In lollipop apps are in a folder of the same name within system/app or system/priv-app but your line would just be as I described above.
And here's how the app appears in Solid Explorer for me:
Hope that makes sense!
*edit* Forgot to say, if you make a backup script, copy it back to system/addon.d and set permissions to the same as the other backup scripts:
Tapatalked that shiznit.
