Random Reboots

My unit has been sitting in the HD docking station next to where I work and I've seen it reboot on it's own several times a day.

I updated my buddies 4g Xoom to this ROM, clean install, and his keeps locking up and eating batteries in a few hours.

I know this isn't much to go on but anyone have any ideas to try to correct these issues?

I'm running the 4/3 build with zero reboots overclocked to 1.2Ghz. My battery life is phenomenal as well. I'm scared to update to the latest because of these reported issues. Did you guys still have these problems with the previous build? If so, I hope its not a hardware issue. They're rare, but it happened to me! I would always try a full wipe from the fastboot prompt before jumping to any conclusions about the ROM itself.

It might be important to note that although I have a 4G Xoom, I've never used the 4G radio or had it activated. I always run in airplane mode with wifi on.

Confirmed, I am getting wifi disconnects (and refusing to reconnect until toggling wifi) after long periods of sleep with the 4/19 build also.

Sent from my Xoom using Tapatalk 2

In case it helps any, I had that problem too, but I went to WiFi -> Advanced -> Keep WiFi on during sleep, and selected Always and I haven't had that problem since. It's been very stable and drains little battery while asleep.

Hello everyone. I'm running 4/19/12 and use my xoom quite heavily and have not yet experienced a single reboot. Rock solid Steady. I'm oc'd slightly to 1.2ghz and receive amazing battery life. All you experiencing rebooting issues, I suggest either throttling back or adjust your undervolting. Amazing rom.

Decieded to check out EOS nightlies and I have to say that all of the issues I'd been having with this threads ROM have disappeared.

I hope to be back soon but I needed more stability.

Maybe a dumb question, but does anyone use the Profiles under Settings? If so, how? I was looking for a way to setup shortcuts for each profile, but haven't seen any. I'm hoping there's an easy way to select profiles without having to go through settings all the time.

Flashed this, and have to say im liking it. My Xoom hangs a little, and I get alot of FC's on a few apps (could be the apps though too) other than that, i will stick with this for awhile!

Yep, I'm not getting any sound through my dock either. I did notice though, occasionally after I first dock my Xoom, I can hear sound from the dock for a fraction of a second.. its almost unnoticeable though.

Think this started happening after the 4/19 update, but not 100% sure.. could have started before that.

Is WiFi really poor for anyone on the latest version?

Ping takes about 1841ms.

I'm getting around 5mbps download but it takes a good 10 seconds to get up to that speed and with my phone in exactly the same location I'm getting about 12mbps download and it gets to that speed straight away.

Computer is also running the same as my phone.

Going to release one last "Kang" build likely later today. We (Team Rogue) are now the official device maintainers for CM9 on the Xoom. We are still working on getting everything set up and CM is also working on getting the new buildservers online, so it might be a little while until nightlies start rolling out. Once the transition is complete you will still find this thread here just with a slightly different title ;) Thanks for all of your support and patience, we look forward to the new and exciting things that are coming our way!

Testing a fix for the reboot issue when external sdcard is removed. Should have something ready for release soon.
