Hi guys
I have extracted the new LG ICS boot animation from P700 firmware to install it on all WVGA devices. Also I've made a special edition for our Optimus 3D (first try ever
).You need Root to install this boot anmation!
That's the way to install:
- Download your favorite boot animation
- Open the 7Z and copy the archive ‘bootanimation.zip’ to sdcard
- Open Root File Manager (e.g. RootExplorer)
- Navigate to sdcard
- Move ‘bootanimation.zip’ on r/w mounted system to /system/media (over wise old bootanimation.zip)
- Change the permissions to 644 (rw-r-r) and owner to 0:0 (root:root)
Power off your device and enjoy the new animation on next startup.
