if you extract the drivers, you can get a readme.txt file which gives rough steps to compile for aosp 4.0

from what i have heard, theres a cyanogen team, cmbroadcom? , that has started porting the drivers to the samsung y? or something of that nature which is a different broadcom chip but it still means theres progress.

Why ICS? What about JB and KitKat? They would be a lot better!

Team broadcomcm already ported these drivers to
Galaxy y , Galaxy Ace i, Galaxy min i etc most broadcom devices

but colors are Not displayed properly yet

but atleast we got it to work and bootable builds

we start from ics because thats the time frame that these drivers were written.
