Why are you turning your fit off? I wear my fit when u sleep so it records the sleep and movement. These devices are not meant to be switched off and on.

Ohhhh .....let me guess it's the same with your watch ? Some people told me that it's because some of the watches sold early are demo watches and have demo mode permeantlly enabled. ......?

I don't know why the others are saying it's normal. I just turned mine off and back on and all my data was still there.

Using an HTC One with the gear fit. SM-R350.

Quote me next time so I know when you responded to me. I had no idea :)

I have EE43. Reset and our possible exchange.

That isn't the model number. The model number for all the gear fits is SM-R350. I have no idea what EE43 is. :p

i have this issue too, since i pressed the hardware button longer after i turned the phone off.
i had this "reboot" screen like in the download mode screenshot from general gear fit forum, after this screen now, the phone resets now every time after reboot.
using a PIN is now useless.

but it means it is a software problem not a hardware problem.

No, it's just a software problem of the gear fit. i have different phones.
i read that i did unfortunately a factory reset because i holded the power button long -
after this factory reset i got the "every time reset".
There is every indication that somewhere a setting was overwritten when i accidentally factory resetet it, which causes this problem.

i am sure it will be fixed in the next update.
