Ok so I rooted my 8.4 and now I'm getting an error message when I turn the tablet on. Says something about incompatible device, but I have super user installed and working. One thing I had to do was disables Knox

Well this morning I went in and force stopped Knox and the error is gone. So it has something to do with Knox.

The root process is very smooth and easy. You have to disable knox after attaining root. Super SU should prompt you and do it.
Just rooted successfully and have to say that was the easiest process ever. Someone should repost this process as a separate thread as its kinda hidden in here.
