Fastcharging not present with this kernel ..
Thanks for providing feedback!

I have included the search app because the devs at uberroms have stated that it is necessary to allow g assistant to work. I am also having doubts about it's helpfulness. Maybe it is safe to remove it in a future build?

Fastcharging should work with the kernel that is shipped with this ROM. I didn't figure out why it doesn't at once.

In case that my device displayed slow charging, I remove the cable and plug it in again. Only then it will switch to fast charging.

Are you still on PN? If so please flash Sharkey kernel r54 to see whether the issue isn't inside the kernel.

I'm on the stock kernel, latest build, and I can't get fast charging to work. Keep seeing the charging text.

Any suggestions?

Rom is super smooth and I was enjoying it until I flashed su. Followed steps in OP and phone just kept booting back to twrp.
Steps I took:
1. Reboot back into twrp
2. flash su
3. flash twrp
4. attempt to boot back into OS

After flashing TWRP, you should reboot to recovery, in order to let it switch boot slots.

Currently, there seems to be a ROM or Kernel related cause for this. I didn't have a chance to figure out where is the culprit.

Suggestions: tolerate this minor glitch until a fix is there.
Furthermore, you could help me by taking a logcat. This would increase the process of isolating the root cause of the issue.

Hello, first off I really like this ROM! It's giving me decent battery life and a general stable experience. But I'm really missing the possibility to change vibration intesity which is possible with EX Kernel, but I don't want to flash EX Kernel again. Another thing I've noticed especially regarding this thread my fast chraging WORKS. And theres a little bug, if you're trying to setup facerecognition settings will crash.

Thanks for your feedback. I will later have a look into face recognition..

Vibration intensity would require to modify the kernel, which wasn't my intention. I appreciate the many hours @DespairFactor has put into optimizing Sharkey kernel. So, maybe this is a feature request that he might consider to be useful.

So, then it should be quite simple. You should use KernelAdiutor or another Kernel Manager to access the vibration option.Sent from my Google Pixel XL using XDA Labs

Ok, I just found the option in the Kernel settings, but it doesn't actually change the vibration volume. When using EX Kernel Manager it works! Another thing I just recognized is that torch flashlight doesn't work unfortunately.

I confirm that vibration strength is currently not working. KA needs an update.

Torch flashlight works on my end. Maybe it will start working for you after a reboot.

PixelDust ROM is an Android 11 ROM especially built for the current Google Pixel devices and aimed for stability at its core with themes and customizations.

Our philosophy is to offer all the features known from the Google Pixel Factory Images paired with a useful selection of the coolest custom ROM features.

Our project is based off directly from AOSP. We attach great importance to aesthetics, themeability and personalization. For this we have integrated a great selection of space wallpapers and a special theme app (many thanks to Dirty Unicorns for their code base) in the settings of the Android OS.

The PixelDust Crew would highly appreciate if you would take a little of your time and leave your valuable feedback, your honest opinion or just say hello. If you should encounter a bug, or some kind of glitch that seems to be abnormal and you are pretty sure that it is related to the ROM (and not related to any special apps or mods you flashed on top), then please give as many details as possible.

Special shoutouts to Roger.T for his amazingly designed wallpapers, logos and the best bootanimation I ever had on my Pixel!!! If you like our work, please consider to buy Roger the first beer, and a few more for the other team members and spezi77. Cheers!

    Attention

With this ROM, safety net check works out of the box!

Our builds use the safety net hack by kdrag0n. It is not necessary to root the device and patch it with Magisk to pass the safety net check.

    How can I use VoLTE?
Unfortunately IMS (VoLTE/ViLTE/WFC) is nonfunctional in Android 11 custom ROMs (same problem as with LOS 18.1).

    Battery life?
To improve battery life, please switch off Always On Display (AoD).
